Overview:
Jerome is a fairly quiet and reserved man with many demons plaguing him. He saw a lot of murder, a lot of death and carnage during his time as a homicide detective, and that seems to have really affected him, making him a quiet man who keeps everything bottled up. He believes in lawful and unlawful, not right and wrong. He couldn’t care less about right and wrong, after everything he’s seen. Why should some go to prison while others don’t? Why should some have died when others didn’t? Right and wrong blurred, leaving only the law for him to follow and carry himself by.
He turned to drinking after a few years on the job, becoming a heavy drinker, coming to work drunk a few times. He loves whisky, and that’s his main drink. He has a lot of confidence in himself, so he doesn’t really care what others think of him. He knows he’s smart, gifted in combat, a meticulous thinker and worker who can wrap his mind around many different cases from points of view that few others can see. However, even with his mental abilities, he was let go due to his occasional appearing on the job drunk. He has no regrets, and simply moved on.
He can speak English, Japanese and French, and can play most instruments such as the piano, violin and flute, primarily.

Weapons: Cassette Arms:- Claw Arm: His primary weapon, as pictured. A large silver claw, hooked into his armor, giving him some support by siphoning power from the arm when needed, through the suit alone, however, not his actual body.
- Rope Arm: A rounded node that replaces the hand, the rest is like his normal arm. It ends in a hook for grappling, which can also be used as a weapon. The end can be modified with a rounded node that launches off like a net.
- Sickle Arm: A scythe-like arm. The arm from the elbow to the hand is normal, but it ends in an enlarged end with the scythe end.
- Power Arm: Normal until nearly the wrist, which is then a large rounded node with a large crescent blade coming up, one end longer than the other. Primarily used for offense.
- Drill Arm: Normal until about halfway between the wrist and elbow, then it becomes a large drill that functions off of an internal power source within this specific arm. Powerful and fast, but it burns out in about five minutes of constant use at the lowest speed and power settings.
- Machine Gun Arm: A machine gun that comes out at around the same spot as the Drill. It runs on an ammo clip wrapped around his arm. About two hundred shots before he has to strap the new belt of ammo on.
- Flail Arm: A large rounded ended arm with a spiked ball at the end, with a strong cord on the inside for launching it out and swinging it around.
He’s also known to carry a firearm, smoke bombs, small knives, miniature bombs, explosives to set and detonate later, along with EMP weapons, such as EMP bombs, and a larger EMP rifle which he carries less often.
Abilities: Tactical HUD. His belt can spawn his Cassette Arms and weapons.
Finisher(s): NA - Claw Arm: His primary weapon, as pictured. A large silver claw, hooked into his armor, giving him some support by siphoning power from the arm when needed, through the suit alone, however, not his actual body.
Other Equipment:
- His bike, as seen in his prototype picture
- He carries a handgun on the job
History
Jerome started out with a mediocre past and family, average at best through his whole life. When he turned twenty two, he went to join the police simply because he could. Underneath his average persona, he was brilliant and skilled in a variety of things, such as combat and mind games, as well as being able to quickly pick up musical instruments and other languages.
He rose through the ranks and became a DI in London. He saw a lot of murders, a lot of death in his time, and tried his best to solve everything, to get peace for everyone he could, for the families. He started to see too much, take on too many cases at once, and soon became swallowed by the work, losing it. What could he do but turn to alcohol to drown out what he had seen? So he did that, and started drinking a lot more than he should have been, often going to the River Thames to just stare out at the waters while he tried to sober up to go to work. Often he went in drunk, but hid it.
Eventually he started to drink too much, and it got the best of him. His superiors found out, and gave him a final warning. He kept drinking anyway and coming in, doing his best to sober up. Sometimes he still hid it, sometimes he sobered up, but then he got caught and was relieved of his job. He wandered around for a while, looking for work, but word had spread to other departments, and he was barred from working for other police departments or anything similar.
Eventually he found work by being recruited by the Metropolitan Metahuman Criminal Prevention Unit. He was recruited to serve as a DI once more, and to serve the cause of the group. He’s been with them the past three years. Over this time he’s been monitoring the G suits and ended up making his own suit for combat. He wanted to do something.
Creating the Riderman suit, he created a leather suit filled with technology and durability so he could protect himself and fight under a new identity. He added more technology to the right arm of the suit, allowing him to use weapons and attachments summoned from his belt as weaponry.
He began to go into training, learning from anyone he could. He put his drinking aside, even, determined to become a strong fighter. Learning various martial arts and the ways of stealth, and how to use weapons, he became the type of man he wanted to be. He first donned the suit at this point, initially donning this suit. He would later complete his next suit, but would always have the original on standby for when it was needed, preferring it in some instances due to its black color.

He stood at the River Thames, looking out into the night, in the cold, at the river below.
“Are you alright? Sir?”
He turned around to see an officer walking towards him. He nodded, “Yeah, I’m fine,” Jerome said.
“It’s three AM,” the officer said.
“I’m in homicide,” Jerome told him.
“Your superiors?” he questioned.
“Moore and Jameson,” Jerome said.
The officer nodded, “Ok…why are you here?”
Jerome continued to look into the ocean, “I’m trying to sober up. I’m not fit to drive,” his car was parked a while back.
“I could give you a ride,” the officer offered, “My partner can take our car back.”
“No…I’d rather stay here and sober up alone,” Jerome said, “As always.”
The officer watched him for a bit, then walked off, leaving Jerome alone, staring out into the cold, dark River Thames as usual. Alone.
