Overview: Manami used to be a sweet girl, despite being a member of what was essentially Time SWAT. However, after the Gien case, which ended in his escape and Manami being trapped in cryogenic stasis for over two hundred years, her heart has become as cold as the thing she was contained in, distancing herself from people and only working towards her own goals.

Born a few years before the turn of the century, Manami Mizushima was considered an athletic prodgidy. From a young age, she could outperform most of her peers in a variety of athletic events, though her passion was swimming, which she entered competitions in regularly -- and just as often took home first prize. It was her incredible talent that caused her to be noticed by the people who would eventually found Time Legion, with Manami as one of the first-generation members of the group at the age of 17.

For three years she served as part of this elite squad, taking on cases that threatened the timeline and their future, imprisoning those who dared to break the law. It was on her 20th birthday that she took on the biggest case of her career - stopping the robotic scientist Gien, who was creating his own time machine to make it so that robots like himself would be the dominant species on Earth. However, before he could set his plan into motion, Manami and the other Timerangers arrived to stop him. In the ensuing battle, the Timerangers managed to damage both Gien and the time machine, but as a result triggered a self-destruct sequence for the entire base. Choosing to stay behind to undo the self destruct and capture Gien, Manami remained behind while the others escaped, the terrorist's base exploding behind them as it escaped. Manami was presumed dead, and her body never found in the ruins.

But as it turns out, Manami survived. During her battle with Gien, she was knocked into a cryogenic stasis container just as the base exploded, and she was trapped inside for 210 years, waking up in the year 3223 to a world in ruins. Not sure what happened, Manami is now pursuing her own investigation to find out the cause... but not before closing an old case.

Sample RP: Waking up from what seemed like an eternity, Manami looked around at her surroundings. It was small, enclosed, uncomfortable... and it was getting hard to breathe. To the best of her ability, Manami kicked the wall in front of her, getting it open after a few tries. Stumbling out, she took a moment to get a look at her surroundings. "What the... this is Gien's lab... but it was destroyed, wasn't it?" She looked around some more and saw that everything was as new as it was when the Time Legion first arrived... and and that the time machine, in the center of the room like it was before, was just powering down. "NO!" the agent shouted, running to the nearest computer. "Dammit! Gien survived!" Holding up her Chrono changer, she pressed a few buttons. "Tatsuya, come in! This is Manami! Gien has rebuilt his lab and has escaped to the past!"

No response.

"Tatsuya! I repeat, this is Manami!"

Still no response.

"Don't tell me it's broken....." she said, pressing the transformation button. The changer crackled and shorted out, confirming her fears. "Dammit... well... guess I need to find a way out and make my way back to HQ..."

Her clothes still in tatters from the battle, and her body still not fully recovered, Manami made her way out of the lab, unaware of what she would find outside....
