Inner Stuff
Likes:
- Playing mind games with people when she meets them, sometimes.
- Traveling.
- Meeting new people. Sure, she screws with them, but still, she likes it.

- Being away from her cousins.
- Overdoing things and alienating people she didn't mean to.
- Not technically having a job.
Strengths:
- ESP; she's a powerful ESPer.
- Sharp minded.
- Always paying attention.
Weaknesses:
- Her ESP drains her, so she can't use it as constantly as she would like in battle.
- That being said, not a very strong fighter, though skilled none the less, just can't always back it up.
- Usually doesn't tell anyone the entire truth, even her comrades, causing some problems in communication and planning.
Goal(s):
- Unknown
Habits/ Quirks:
- She sometimes likes to twist the ring on her finger
Relationships:
- Kiriha Kyuuseishu - her cousin. Once close, now a bit apart
- Whip Nagara - her other cousin. Sees him less
Overview:
Marilen is a fairly unassuming woman, or appears to be. She pays attention to everything with both her normal senses, and her ESPer abilities, gaining powerful insight, which pleases her. She tries to appear that she's not sure what's happening in important situations, just to throw enemies off, or anyone she doesn't trust. She's a romantic, playful, and likes to mess around with people, especially other women when it comes to men. She doesn't like to talk about herself that much, or her family, leading to some rather, as she would call it, "fun" conversations or encounters.
She has no qualms about using her ESP for any purpose as long as it suits her needs. That's not to say she wants to do it to screw with people or anything, but when she needs something done, she'll use her powers. Her powers are fairly strong, and she often uses them in combat, even in Rider form, for increased combat abilities.

History
When she was young, her uncle died, causing her parents to adopt her cousin, Whip Nagara. Like Whip, she was born in America and bares an American first name. She had a connection with her uncle, and would find out in time what that truly meant.
At an unknown time through unknown means, she gained the powers of an ESPer, like Whip. Her powers began to develop first, however, and stronger. She thought his powers would equal hers when he hit her ages, but his powers were always weaker. They grew apart when they went off for schooling, and when she was done, she went on to do some traveling.
At age 19 she ended up in Africa. She was in a smaller group of people, with a translator as her only companion. Out in the deserts and mountainous regions of Africa, they weren't many, and she started to wonder why she had chosen to come here. During their time a small group of men arrived of mixed nationality. A group of mercenaries. At first the people wondered if they were endangered, but the mercenaries stayed with them, proving to be friendly enough. They offered some protection during their time there, and offered to bring the group with, back to civilization, but that was where they were staying.
For two months the mercenaries remained, taking a liking to the people. Marilen spoke to them often, listening to the stories of their travels and what they've done. Some of it was bad, some of it noble. They were mercenaries; they fought for whoever hired them. She took a liking to their leader, Hoban, and spoke to him the most. She was able to confide to him of her powers, trusting him that much.
When the mercenaries finally left, Marilen found a depression. She ended up leaving within the week, returning to Japan and trying to find a life there. But when she unpacked she found something that hadn't been there before. A flashdrive; the Eternal Gaia Memory, left by Hoban. She set out to find out what it was, and what else she needed.

Marilen sat on the ground, playing with her ring, twisting it on her finger.
"It was delightful. And then we move on," she told the translator.
"You don't look like you moved on," he answered, sitting opposite of her.
She looked at him, trying to figure out what to say. She looked back at her ring, "They moved on, the people here will move on, and now we will move on. I want to be gone within the week."
"After those mercenaries?" he asked.
"No, of course not. Back to Japan," she said, "I...don't want to be here anymore."
"Of course," he said, "We'll return."
"Good," she said, "Time to go."
