Overview:

Sonoko is a caring, carefree, and up beat young woman. She tackles tasks and problems head on, and always has a smile on her face no matter what the situation is. Her favorite phrase is, “No matter what happens, the heroine always comes out on top!” and she believes that a true heroine will always defeat evil no matter where they lurk, being influenced by many of the superheroes that she sees on TV.

She is also a firm believer of second chances, case in point being with the Legendorga and having them protecting humans instead of trying to destroy them. She is rarely annoyed, or angry with the only instances of that happening was if someone truly wanted to destroy humans or if her servants annoyed her by attacking humans.

She is also intensely stubborn, and will not back down from her dream, this stubbornness and strong allowed her to keep Arc in check as it would not be able to control her mind as long as she continually resisted anything it tells her to do.

Sonoko cares a lot for her friends and allies as they are the most important things to have and as such she would furiously defend them if evil forces ever attack them. Deep inside however she fears death…her family passing away more then 2 years ago, and she wonders if she can ever contain the powerful Arc that lies inside of her fearing that one day it would completely engulf her and she would become a villain.

Sonoko was the offspring between a Fangire and a human. From birth her true heritage had been kept a secret from her so that she could have a normal life, as a Fangiri is able to remain in human form nor does it have the same thrist as a Fangire have, however Sonoko always knew that there was something not right about her. Her family was quite well off, her mother a CEO of a company while her father, though rarely home, was supposed to be a freelance journalist.

But the truth came out one day when her father began to crumble before her eyes, in truth he was dying because Fangires can only live up to 300 years and he was close to the end. With his dying breath her father told her the truth, that he was a Fangire and that she was a Fangiri, after he had told the story he then collapsed into dust. Despite such a discovery that would have sent most girls into panic, Sonoko was intrigued by the Fangires and continued to research into them despite her mother’s plea.

On her 21st birthday Sonoko’s mother then fell prey to a Fangire while Sonoko watched on in horror. Although she managed to escape she now was more desperate to find more about the demon races, so that she could somehow protect other people. She learned about Kiva, Fangires, and anything that would give her some sort of clue as to what to do.

One day she managed to find a mansion, where supposedly a powerful Fangire lived, in truth the mansion hid the coffin of Arc and subsequently all the Legendora. She entered the mansion where all the Legendoras had turned into stone statues before descending to the basement where she found a coffin. She approached it and tried to read an inscription on it, but it was in a different language she didn’t understand, against her better judgment she then opened the coffin, unleashing Arc in the process.

As Arc tried to overwhelm her and take control of her body Sonoko then thought of her dream of protecting humans as she used her strong will to fight back Arc and actually took control of Arc’s power for herself. As she left the mansion in a hurry she found the Legendorga already awoken surprised to find that Sonoko was still herself…with little choice they pledged their allegiance to Sonoko. With her new found power Sonoko’s dream of being a super-heroine was somewhat achieved, now came the problem of trying to have the Legendorga protect humanity instead of trying to eat them.

The Bloody Rose sang out in Castle Doran just as Sonoko was eating her breakfast, “Again?” she asked as she got up and went towards the entrance. Kivat quickly flew to her side and said, “are you sure about this Sonoko-sama? Can your body handle it?”

Sonoko smiled and nodded, “I have to continue my father’s work…I need to” she then looked away and went out of the door. She soon found the Fangire in the middle of eating his latest victim, “accursed Fangire” Sonoko growled, “you dare try to destroy my father’s dream? Kivat!” Kivat then flew to her side and she soon transformed into Arc and charged into battle.

Meanwhile in Castle Doran the other Legendorgas were watching Sonoko fight with intense concentration, “Ne…” one said said, “will Sonoko-sama be okay?” he was intensely worried as he kept jumping up and down.

The Mummy Legendorga could only stare, “She’ll be fine..she is the successor to Arc-sama and she has his blessing and determination…she’ll be fine” though he wasn’t so sure.
