Overview: The Gunslinger is an enigma wrapped in a puzzle, wrapped in a lot of guns. He holds many secrets, and refuses to share them with anyone, especially those who claim to be heroes. He does seem to have a great sense of pride, to the point of monologuing. Really. That happens. The only one he apparently confides in his AI partner, Sierra.

Within the infinite possibilities of the multiverse is a universe much like this one, but with many differences. For instance, all the heroes you know? Where the Gunslinger is from, they're villains. The worst villains imaginable. The Gunslinger was under constant threat from them. He only survived because of his father, who led a heroic life. Like his idol/close blood relative, the Gunslinger chose to hide his true name, going for The Gunslinger as an alias. His initial foray into the heroics business was quickly quelled by a villain who broke his arm at least once.

At that time, Gunslinger wasn't disheartened easily. With a bit of persuasion, and a gun, he managed to acquire the power of Gun Caliber from a small-time thug. Armed with his new powers, he busted into a research facility used for alternate dimension experimenting. He was caught in a teleport beam, and sent to a station in the void. He made no time in claiming the station for his own, including the AI, Sierra. It was on this station that he learned of the -REDACTED-. The gunslinger became obsessed with finding the -REDACTED-, and managed to pinpoint its location to a universe that was a mirror image of his own.

Sample RP: A green streak of light heralded the Gunslinger's arrival at the base. As usual, there was no-one there to greet him, save for Sierra.

"Welcome back, Master." it said. He liked how it called him "Master". "Were you successful?"

"I'm not sure." he said, checking his watch. "What was the time dilation?"

"Time dilation factor of 20, Master." was the reply.

"20? Tha...agh!" The Gunslinger clutched at his chest. Pain had suddenly erupted from somewhere close to his heart.

"Please rest, Master. You are still accommodating to this time. I will administer medication through the air supply." Sierra announced.

"How long was I gone for in their time?"

"About 3 months, Master."

The Gunslinger slumped down in a chair, looking unwell. "That universe is poisoned to the core. I was only there for a few minutes and I was beginning to lose focus."
