"What the hell are you doing?" Henry shouted to Kyle.
He stopped firing, "I saw something moving."

Cameron was gasping for breath, "You don't think it could've been a harmless floating plastic bag from the colony, do you?"

He turned to Cameron, "A bag isn't that big."

Cameron sighed, "We're going to go looking for it aren't we?"

"No," another Expeditionary stated. He turned to Kyle, "Look at the sky."
He looked up. It was becoming reddish.
"Storm," he said, "Sandstorm! We need shelter, now!"

Cameron looked frantically around while cursing, "Shit. Shit. Shit."
Cameron pointed to something not too far off in the distance, "I think there might be shelter over there!"

One of the Expeditionaries pulled out his binoculars and looked on, "There's a cave! He's right!"
"Let's go!" Kyle shouted, running.

Cameron nodded before running towards the cave, quickly overtaking the Expeditionaries.
He'd rather get shot in the back than the stuck in a sand storm.

Storms on Spes came quickly, and often without warning. Even if the signs of the storm had begun a minute or two ago, they'd only probably have about that same amount of time to get into cover before it was upon them, and a sandstorm was extremely dangerous on the planet.
Fortunately, by the time the storm picked up, they had reached the cave.

Cameron leaned against the cave wall, wiping off his forehead with his jacket sleeve.

One of the men looked into the storm as it hit their area. It was blinding. Death would be brought on normally from being choked to death on the sheer amount of sand in the air.
"I can't imagine a worse death," one man said.

Cameron just stood silently, listening to the fury of the storm and waiting for it to end.

"Looks like it might last for a few hours," the man said. He was good with the weather patterns and how it worked on Spes.
"Great," Henry muttered.

Inside the colony, the people were being ushered back into houses and buildings for safety. Olivia was out and had been ushered quickly into the same place that Skylar was.

Skylar didn't really appreciate the fact that random citizens were ushered into her lab like cattle, but a mighty storm was raging and she couldn't just let them die on the street.
She had ceased all scientific activity for the moment and was sitting on one of the tables, playing with a rubix cube.

Olivia moved past people in Skylar's direction, taking a seat on the table, "You're one of the scientists who made the Sirenger technology, aren't you?" she asked.
