As the group continued, there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Cameron sighed, "This probably sounds a little weird coming from me, but i'm sorta disappointed that we didn't anything interesting. I guess Skylar's rubbing off on me."

Kyle didn't say anything. He moved onwards, while Henry shrugged, "I don't know about that," he told Cameron.

Cameron tried laughing it off, "Yeah, right. Like i want to run into any freaky aliens out here in the wastes."

As they continued on, reaching the cave area again, Kyle broke off from the path, heading towards the outcropping he had fired on.
"Where are you going?" Henry called.
"There was something here!" he shouted back as he moved up the hill.

Kyle was up on the outcropping, looking around. He looked at the ground, but he couldn't find anything. Either there had been nothing, or perhaps the storm had blown any evidence away.
He came sliding back down and walked back to the group, "Let's move. There was nothing."

The rest of the way back was uneventful. There was nothing new to report, as Kyle kept it to himself.
"It's been good to have you with us this time," Henry told Cameron.
