"What do you mean?" she asked.

He figured he may as well tell her, he did mention his sister earlier before when he slipped up. "...Medicare. I put almost 80% of my money towards medicare, for my younger sister, Jamie." He told Noa, "A few years ago, she got injured by a few monsters that also killed our parents. Since then she's required constant medical care as a result of the injuries--she's the reason why I'm in this damn force to begin with."

"Don't feel sorry for me." He told her, "The only other good thing about this job is that I can pay any Meta-Humans kindly for what they did to my life." He spoke somewhat darkly, "...Still." He glanced at Noa, "...It means something that you care. So, thanks."

"I lost people in my life as well, but at least it was when I was younger, so it's not as fresh of a wound," she said.

"Even still, the fact that you lost someone before is still there." He looked at her, "I've gotten over the fact that I lost my Parents, there's nothing I can do to change that fact. Its the fact I could lose my younger sis any day if I don't follow the orders of the MMCPU like some dog." He clenched a fist, "She's all I have left."

"Don't. Asking you for help would only make me feel bad, you have your own issues, got it?" He told her, "A pretty face like you should worry about herself before others."

"Too bad, I want to help people if I can," she said.

"You best watch yourself then, some people will take advantage of kindness like your's." He told her, "If they do, I may have to break a face or two." He chuckled.

"Well, you're a pretty good looking girl, I'd hate to find out anything happened to you when I turned my back." He told her with a chuckle, it becoming a smile afterwards.
