She looked at Kakeru. This was a nice location, so that was good.
"I'll get what you have," she told him.

Kakeru chuckled lightly, before grinning and commenting to Noa. "Not so sure that's the smartest plan there." He said, pulling out a small tablet and writing a quick list, showing it to Noa. On it were six different flavored coffee beverages, thre frozen, three hot, and all with quadruple-shots of espresso. "Might get you wired for a week straight."

Sh looked at it questioningly and back at him, "Are you serious?" she questioned.

Kakeru chuckled again. "In my line of work, I tend to pull near-constant all-nighters, international trips, and operations lasting multiple hours without breaks. This much caffeine is the bare minimum for me to not crash in about ten minutes." He said rather matter-of-factly. Indeed, in the past week, he'd barely had more than two or three hours of sleep, and was on the verge of crashing. Meanwhile, the barista waited for their orders, adjusting his scarf around his neck and straightening his apron.

"Just normal coffee," she said to the barista. She looked at Kakeru, "Doesn't seem healthy."

Kakeru chuckled half-heartedly. "I have no doubt that it isn't, but it's not really an option for me." He sighed under his breath, simply handing the paper to the barista.

She smiled a little, "Must suck," she said.

Kakeru chuckled. "You'd think so, but the perks are pretty good, and the health care is Grade A+. Plus there's some pretty neat tech." He said, pulling out a rather simple looking device that functioned as a com, tracker, and tazer.

"Well, the pay is unbelievable, for one. Then they pay for travel and food expenses, supply free high-end clothing, and there's good companionship among them." He vouched, smiling a bit as the barista went about making their orders.

"Sounds like a job I could get behind," she commented.

Kakeru chuckled, chiming in an extra comment. "Just stay out of Development Lab Epsilon. We're still trying to find Johnson's left foot." Despite his joking tone, he was rather serious, as Development Lab Epsilon was well known among Agents for being prone to flub-ups in very risky experiments.

"Yeah, that sounds like something I wouldn't do. Weapons, I'm guessing?" she asked.

Kakeru chuckled. "Nah, the weapons are handled by Theta. Epsilon deals with tools and materials. They were testing a teleporter for deploying troops. I don't know why, the current deployment method is bloody good fun." He laughed, making a gun shape with his hand and pointing it at an upward angle.
