"The perimeter seems to be the same as always. It ends two blocks ahead, and they don't go past it."

"Alright I'll go out and get him, tell the first detail to provide covering fire if needed, if we're lucky I should be back without any problems," John said.

John looked at him before smiling and slapping him on the back, "Alright let's move then," as he called the first detail up and gave them their orders as John got out of the perimeter and began to cautiously move towards the person. His shotgun at the ready.

"We have what, three blocks?" Simon said, "Three blocks of Grinders. I think we should transform."

"Good idea," John said as he took out his energy cell and inserted into his morpher before turning into REVOLUTION Red.

Simon transformed, pulling out his Nitro Blaster as they moved. He expected the Grinder presence to be in full in a few moments, after they crossed the line where the enemy activity ceased at.

John pulled out his own Nitro Blaster as he scanned the area, expecting an ambush any minute now, however everything seemed to be quiet. There were no signs of any Grinders anywhere.

Simon looked around as they walked. They were past the line now by about half a block, so he expected Grinders to have appeared by now.
And in a few moments, a group of them appeared in front of them from the buildings, firing with their weaponry while a few used their weapons as blades and ran for the two.

"Incoming!" John cried out as he fired his Nitro Blasters to suppress the firing Grinders before taking out his Road Saber to combat the remaining ones.

Simon fired on the ones that still stood while summoning his second weapon, opening fire with that now and switching his Nitro Blaster to the sword mode. He wasn't great at firing and fighting two different battles at once, but he did the best he could, even if he was struggling through most of the sword fight.

John saw this weakness, "Simon throw me your secondary," as he threw his Nitro Blaster at him. "You handle the shooting, I'll handle the cutting."

He threw the Nitro Blade, "Here!" He took up his second hand to the firearm, keeping his plasma blasts flying with better accuracy now, keeping more Grinders from getting overly near them.

John was keeping the Grinders away from Simon as he struck anything that got too close to Simon.
