He didn't have an immediate answer for that...none that wouldn't be hurtful. Still...he had to admit, he had a certain respect for Misa's skill....and would not underestimate her again. It had almost turned out very badly, this time.

"Not without my consent." Wraith retorts....dispelling his form, and one of his weapons. He keeps the other attached to his back, in case he has to act quickly.

She nodded and stepped away from him, walking a few steps before an arrow plunged through her leg, causing her to drop and scream in pain, the seal immediately appearing on her chest.

He jumps in front of Koyomi, taking a second arrow in the stomach, though a quick use of magic stopped its progress further...it still made him falter. "Not this time, Misa!"

Misa didn't wait and continued to unleash arrows for them.

He plunges his hand in and grips the handle of her weapon, drawing it out of her. The Heart Edge, a beautiful black and gold katana. Using the adrenaline already in place, he slashes arrows aside, quickly now. "You stay away from her..." he comments, letting his anger about seeing Koyomi used that way come out, "She is not some tool to be used and thrown aside!" His body began to glow with gold magic, the blade of the Katana extending out longer, glowing as well.
Then, he slashes it quickly at Misa...but if the latter dodged, she would know how badly the finisher could have hurt her.

Misa kept herself back, "Well, you've chosen to use her as what she is. A weapon," Misa said.
Koyomi had passed out from this one, due to the pain of the arrow in her leg and her heart being drawn out.

"With her permission." He transforms once again to Wraith, the finisher not having been enough to drive Misa away. His form changes to green, and he slashes empowered wind blades at Misa.

She seemed to vanish as the attack came, but her voice persisted.
"But there's no going back now. You're holding her heart, and wielding her as a weapon. Now what?"

"When someone gives you their heart you need to be careful not to drop it." Kai replied simply. "And that is what I will do. She may not like me in the way I liked her, but maybe I can be her friend."
