He managed, cupping his hands dramatically near her as they glow with the Ring's power...before slamming them down onto the wound, his body contorting a little under her grasp...but the magic soon took effect, using the body's natural system to patch himself up good as new...

"Y...yeah..." he managed, after a moment. "But...could you hold me for a little while?" he asked her softly. Kai needed that little while to regain all of his strength...and her peaceful presence would help.

She nodded, putting both of her hands on him, using a small amount of her magic to try to soothe him, feeling his heart at the same time.

Kai relaxed....his heart showing that he was sorry for his mistake...and showing her what had happened during the fight, and when he got hit. the overlying feeling was that, despite what had happened....he cared for her.

And so he did, for a little while, for the time he needed, resting against her comfortably....Koyomi having a chance to see a side of Kai that was more vulnerable and naive.

He had made a mistake with that Phantom, but it was a human desire. She almost blamed herself about it, but she had warned him. It was on both their parts, she believed.

He wasn't sure what to say to her...but he figured that she had already seen anything he could bring up. And he didn't mind that. In a sense...that made communication easier.
