Kai looked at her, seeing if she would confirm the fact that she was, indeed, safe. Though he may not send for the man in the future, if he was going to be this way.

Kai reaches his hand down, picking up the old door and moving it out of the way with magic, leaning it against the side of his house. "I suppose I should go find the door. Koyomi, did you want to come with?" if she said yes, fine, if not, at least she would be protected.

"Yes." He wasn't going to tell her yet....wanting it to be a surprise, but remembering what happened the last time he surprised her. Shrugging a little, he leans back against the side of the house. "Well, it involved going somewhere, but should I leave my house unattended while there's a big hole in the side of it...hmmm."
