After she'd left the room....he sighed. Once again...he'd put his foot in his mouth. In her own way, she'd been trying to help....and he just didn't see it that way at the time. This was hard, on him. Awkward, even...
He pulls the ring to his hand, and scans it over his buckle. Placing said ring into Garuda, he looks at it. "Go watch over her...she finds you to be better company anyway."

The Garuda flew off to do as he bid it.
Koyomi wasn't sure where to go. She didn't know the house, so she just chose the couch.

After sitting there a while, he gets up, writing her a note.

He leaves the note on the kitchen table, gets his hooded long-coat and pads out quietly.

After a little while, realizing she hadn't seen him, she went back to the kitchen, finding his note. She read it over and put it back on the table, letting him do as he pleased, hoping that they would be better when he got back.

Mage?
Misa was nearby, watching people, searching for any Gates. A mage was something else entirely, but it would work out for her. She cloaked her magic and walked in his direction in her more exotic looking clothing, flowing around her.

The Ring's power sensed the presence of a cloak being used, but thusly couldn't identify the source. Still...it was enough to make Kai look up, and smirk, doing a little bit of a double-take.

"I do. And I like what I see." Kai said simply, standing to his feet, lowering his hood. his gut feeling said something was off, but he didn't care. Flirting would be one way to get his mind off of what happened.
