Roland sits there upon the mountain cliff, having journeyed their after his fight with the bronze rider. He drinks from a bottle - bud light the shopkeeper called it. It felt nice going down his throat.

His broken blade sat next to him. He had meant to journey to Fiorre to get it repaired, but he had forgotten the location of the magic well. Oh well. He could lay siege to mighty empires without it. He had the power of the Joker Memories that the gods had bestowed upon him.
