Laurie stepped out into the arena, slowly unsheathing her Saber. She smiled at the beautiful sound of it unsheathing, the kind of sound that doesn't exist.
"I know the feeling" Laurie said, running at Ash.

Ash left the safety of his cover to charge at Laurie, laughing like a madman.

Laurie slashed her sword, intentionally planning on hitting his saw. She twisted around to follow up with a kick.

Ash blocked the slash, but not the kick.
"Good, but not good enough."
Ash then counterattacked with a roundhouse kick of his own.

Laurie likewise took the kick.
"Not bad old timer."
Laurie responded with a slash from both her Fear Saber and her Blockbuster. She stepped back, trying to keep out of reach of a counterattack.

"Old timer? I'm in my thirties."
Ash blocked the Saber's slash, but not the Blockbuster. His suit took much of the damage, but it still stung.
"I'm gonna get you back for that!"
And how Laurie might of thought to herself? With some point blank boomstick shots of course!

Laurie hit the ground just in time to duck the shots. One did hit her, the attack being absorbed by her suit. It still hurt like hell though. Laurie dropped her Fear Saber as she dropped. While on the ground she spun around and kicked Ash's legs out from under him.

And this time Ash fell and dropped his boomstick causing it to go off and nearly kill one of the agents observing the fight.
"Hey, watch it!" he shouted in return.
