Tomochin stood outside the theater, looking up at the sky. She'd had a dream the night before, a dream about flying. She didn't know what it meant, but something was going to happen. Something big.
On a nearby rooftop, a familiar figure in a black hat and coat watched. She held a small case in her clenched hand, waiting for something.

Yuki walked outside and noticed her looking up at the sky.
"Hello Tomomi-san," she greeted, "Are you waiting for someone?"

Tomo started slightly, and noticed Yuki.
"Not really, Yukirin. Just looking up at the sky."

On a separate nearby rooftop, someone stood watching. In his left hand sat loosely a Gaia Memory.

Yuki pulled out her Nintendo DS from her purse and started playing a rousing game of Super Princess Peach.

"Looks addicting." Tomochin said.
"Time for a test of her current abilities. See if she is worthy." Shroud said, turning and walking away.
The man clicked his memory. "SHADOWS". He stuck it into the Bio Connector on his arm and assumed his Dopant Form, a tall, thin figure robed in shadows. He disappeared into a shadow.

Yuki nodded, "I played it for eight hours straight yesterday. I only put it down today to practice."

Mariko walked up, seeing Tomochin and Yukirin. "Oh! Tomochin! Yukirin!" she said cheerfully, walking up to them. "Fancy running into the both of you here~!"

"Hi, Mariko." Tomochin said.
The Dopant materialized out of the shadows near them, it's only visible feature being it's bright, glowing blue eyes.
Tomo's head snapped up. "Something's off." She produced the Accel Driver from her pocket, looking around.

"Whatever it is I'm sure you can handle it, Tomoko-san....YATTA!" she cried out after finally defeating the boss that had been giving her so much trouble.

"My name is Tomomi. I though you of all people would- mmph!" Tomochin started to protest, before a tendril of shadow shot out of the hiding place of the Shadows Dopant and wrapped around her mouth, causing her to drop the Accel Driver and beginning to drag her towards it.
