Charles was silent for a few moments before he let out an exhale, "I...apologize for coming off as rude, its not like me to be this way towards a good woman--even less like me to someone I should be getting along with." Charles referred to the fact they were technically comrades. He made a bit of a smile to her, not even bothered by the fact that he stood soaked, both hair and clothes dripping water onto the already soakened ground.

"Perhaps not, but I wouldn't prefer to treat you as I would an enemy." He remarked, but after that he stopped, "Well, see it however you please." He added.

"Fair enough fair enough." Charles simply said, taking a step to go past her. 'Better nothing than an enemy.' Charles thought to himself, he glanced one more time at Helena, "Well, it grows quite late and I think I've put up with enough rainfall. I take it I'll pass by you again soon enough." He somewhat joked towards the end, "Be seeing you." He then looked forward, about to take his leave.

She said nothing, and simply walked on by, making no promises, but not eliminating any chances of teaming up with him either.

'Interesting girl, I'll do well to keep her in mind. She could prove use in the near future, who knows?' Charles collected upon, leaving the area, needing a shower and a change into some dry clothes.
