He nodded, "Yeah," he said.
As he got back up, Joji came into the room, "Kiriha! Something's wrong!" he told the other man, "The recipients are all going critical!"
"What?" Kiriha questioned.
"The donor. The organs were infected with intense amounts of Black Satan. The recipients are all having massive organ failures..."
Kiriha looked at Natsumi, and ran out with Joji.

"Black Satan?" She started to question, but when they ran out...she followed out of instinct.

The three patients were in critical condition. Kiriha split of and went to see Hiro, whom had gotten a kidney out of it.
"How are you feeling?" he asked Hiro.
"Not great," he said.
"...It'll be ok...," he said. He liked Hiro, he couldn't stand to watch this man die. He left Hiro's room and got to work with the others to do what he could.

Natsumi watched, remaining detached. What was this Black Satan? And what was it doing to them? She puts on her goggles, going to a corner of one of the rooms where she's out of the way, and leaning against the wall, opening her laptop to try and find answers...

Kiriha left Hiro and went to try to help the other patients, those whose bodies were much worse off.
In the span of two hours, they lost their patients one by one. Nothing they could do would help them. When the third one was about to die, Kiriha abandoned him and went back to Hiro.
"Are you ok?" he asked Hiro.
"I'm feeling a little dizzy," he admitted, "A little pain in my head."
Kiriha looked at him, and could only say one thing, "I'm sorry."

Her search for answers had only left her with a few vague clues....and she walked in, giving Hiro a smile to hopefully help brighten his way into the next world.

Joji came in with the others, hoping to be able to beat it before it got to him. They would have done it from the start, but the three were the priority over the one.
Kiriha helped as Hiro went into critical condition, taking the defibrillators and trying to revive him. He did it three times, but none of it worked, they couldn't get his heart going again.
"Oh come on, come on, come on...," it didn't work. He slammed the cart aside, "God, god, god!" he shouted, storming out as the man he had become friends with was lost.

A quiet cold, came over Natsumi, as the other stormed out. A feeling of sadness. She didn't know that human....but it was because he was related to Kiriha. She follows him out quietly, staying a good two steps behind him. Better not to provoke a remodeled human after all.

"They were my responsibility," he said, knowing she was there, "I let them all down. They're dead because of me." There was no way he could have seen it coming, though. No reason to test for something like that, "I let four people die. Four people I was responsible for..."

"I would say that it isn't your fault. You had no reason to test for that, you couldn't have seen this coming. You would deny it, put too much of the blame on yourself. But just because you deny it, doesn't mean that it isn't true." Natsumi brushes past him, pushing her goggles up on her forehead, if he wanted her there, he could pull her close, otherwise, she would leave him to his grief.

"It's mine to shoulder," he said, "The blame I take from myself is deserved." He walked past her, towards the door.
"Kiriha!" Joji called to him, hurrying up to them, "We still need you!"
"I'm done," he told Joji, pushing the door open and walking out.

"Idiot." she mutters under her breath, after he walks out the door. Giving Joji a look, she heads through the hospital to a different door...the roof access, and goes up there Baring her tribal markings, she becomes the Azure Dragon Fangire...and uses the fog to amplify her smoke, teleporting away.
