Being stalked [Mikan]

[Mikan Ushiba]

Mikan perked up a little, but went and sat down on her lap. This felt a bit weird, Mikan was almost, but yet not quite an adult. She looked at Yuriko in curiosity with her brown, puppy dog eyes.

[Yuriko Misaki]

Yuriko smiles. "Well my dear Mikan....I traveled the world when I was your age. Didn't go to a public school. Part of my grace and flexibility came from hard work, dedication and stretching. The other part came when I was kidnapped by a very bad group of people and...experimented upon. Luckily, I was freed before I lost my mind...so I'm still myself, and I have this amazingly flexible body. It's...nothing to see really." she gave, rubbing the back of her head.

[Mikan Ushiba]

Mikan listened to her story, intrigued.

"Ah...I did not go to public school either..." she then frowned a little, "That would be scary...being at an evil person's whim...How did you escape?"

[Yuriko Misaki]

"I was...freed, by someone, before the process was complete. I thought he was a nice man at the time. But since then he never ceases to both amaze and infuriate me. If you asked how things were between us I would have to tell you that it was very...complicated."

[Mikan Ushiba]

"I see..." Mikan went and nodded, understanding, "Well you care about him, no? Are you happy he saved your life?" she went and asked her, tilting her head.

[Yuriko Misaki]

"I wouldn't say I cared about him...but I do appreciate the fact that he did save my life. But....just because he did, doesn't mean he can act any way he wants to around me." Yuriko said. "At present, I'm in love with no one."

[Mikan Ushiba]

"That is quite right. Do not let yourself be mistreated by anyone....w-well I hope you find someone who befits you then.." Mikan smiled a little, she went and twiddled her thumbs. "...It is a nice feeling, to love..." she went and looked away a little.

[Yuriko Misaki]

"Oh?" Yuriko said with a smirk...and a small smile. "My life doesn't allow for committed relationships...but enough about me." she says, holding Mikan a little closer. "Do you have someone in your life that you love, Mikan-chan?"

[Mikan Ushiba]

"W...well.." Mikan's face turned red quickly, she went and folded her hands in her lap. "...I...I do..." she went and admitted, looking away.

[Yuriko Misaki]

Yuriko smiled, putting a hand on Mikan's shoulder to reassure her. "What are they like?" she asked, accounting for the fact that it could be anyone from either side of the aisle.

[Mikan Ushiba]

"Hes...hes a great person...one of the greatest I've ever met..." she admitted, "...Y-you see, I don't come off as easy to read usually...but with him, I'm like an open book..." Mikan said, placing a hand on her chest. "He just knows what to say...and when to say it..." she went and explained, "Hes a kind person...and he does what he can to help just about anyone..." she shrugged a bit, "You do not find many people who do that nowadays and not expect anything in return..." Mikan told Yuriko, she looked ecstatic and en-thrilled when talking to him, her eyes gleaming. "Plus, we both share a love of tea..." she smiled widely.

[Yuriko Misaki]

Yuriko smiled....envying Mikan in a way. But...she squeezed her shoulder. "Sounds like you've found the one for you. You're not half-empty inside. Who asked who out?" she gave, wanting more details.

[Mikan Ushiba]

"He-he did....he told me how he felt...and he was rather blunt about it..." Mikan scratched her cheek, "I..it was on my birthday..." she told Yuriko. "He came over uninvited...I don't even know how he found out it was my birthday..." she came to the realization, "...but he gave me this..." she went and motioned towards the hair pin that was in her hair.

[Yuriko Misaki]

"That's a nice touch.." Yuriko said softly. "So was it a good birthday present for you?"

[Mikan Ushiba]

She nodded, smiling. "Yes...I enjoy small presents...I..I don't like anything big and extravagant..." she told her.
