She took some of her drink in. Yeah, right choice.
She had agreed to this, kind of started it, but still, it felt weird.

It didn't feel so weird to him, he'd just roll with it, and see how things turned out. He couldn't deny that she was attractive, to be sure. The wine felt right, though. A lot more would be conveyed by body language here than normally would be.

"Aye." He gave, smiling to her. It was a genuine smile, at least. He had nothing to lose by putting on a facade or playing around with this kind of thing. "I am. Are you, though?"

"So...," she said, "Anything happen for you? To you? I mean, our meetings aren't exactly your whole life," she said, "Anything interesting?"
She was just trying to spark conversation.

He was thankful for that. "Well, I got in a few fights. Won money fair and square in bar games, drinking people under the table and otherwise...some of them didn't like it. Hauled off and hit me right here." he gave, indicating his jaw. "And I returned the favor by punching them through the bar entrance. The owner wasn't mad once I afforded him enough to pay the damages. I've also fought a few monsters too. Those are more difficult, but I manage to survive."
