"Yeah. I would have lost a chance to get to know a beauty like you." He returns the visor to visor look. "For now though....hold on. I have a better way to get across." he gives, producing the Scope Shot, and analyzing the wall across the chasm for a good point...

He loops an arm around her waist, firing the Scope Shot with the other. "I won't let you down." Merlyn says, before they're pulled across the chasm by the grappling hook, landing easily on their feet, and he lets go of her after an extra second. "Well, that was fun." he comments, before examining the door. He lifts it up, allowing her to pass under, and then he walks his way under it, carefully positioning his hands before letting the door fall shut behind him. He plants a beacon on the wall next to the door with the Drake Foundation logo on it. "For reference, on the way back."

Felicia pulled out her Shatter Cross and loaded an exploding pellet.
"I'll take care of the next obstacle. Can't have an adventure without explosions, right?"

"As you will, but do be careful of large rocks that might fall as a result." Explosions might screw with the structural integrity of the Temple, and while the suits were good....he wasn't keen on having either of them test how well they protect against blows to the head.

"Don't be such a killjoy. We'll be fine," Felicia walked ahead, "If there are any falling rocks, i'll blow them up too. I'm a pretty good shot - especially when i have the proper motivation."

"If you're certain, we'll trust your gut." Merlyn said, following her left. He'd just have to be extra awesome to get them through any traps that might arise.

Felicia walked forward when her foot pressed down on a switch.
"...This can't be good."
She leapt back as a giant blade swung downward, nearly cutting her in two.

"Oh dear." he manages to comment, putting a hand on her shoulder once she landed. "You okay?" His HUD analyzes the giant blade and the corridor ahead of them...

She nodded, "I'll be fine, but i wouldn't be so sure of that guy."
She pointed to a skeleton laying on the floor near them. It looked as if it was a conquistador from the exploration days or something.

"Interesting." he says, the giant blade retracting up, and he leads her quickly past that, a little bit further down the corridor. "Hmm....I wonder what else is in here..."
