Goodbye [Emi]

[Katsu Arai]

Katsu stood and looked out at the ocean from the rocks. It was near the beach, but she wouldn't die there. No, she'd cast herself from here, down on the rocks below.

There was no other way for her. Nothing had gone right, nothing was going to go right. She had hurt people, she had been hurt. This was for the best.

It was morning now. Maybe she'd be found today, maybe not. She had said she was going to school, but had left not dressed for it. This was going to be it. What she wore didn't matter to her. She didn't care what she looked like when she died. Shorts, boots, and a longsleeved shirt sufficed just as good as anything.

She looked down at the rocks, and then at the ocean. Tears came down her cheeks as she looked down at the rocks again.

Now Rise wouldn't be able to cause any more pain, as long as it didn't activate and stop her death. But she doubted the Arc would do anything. She was sure that this was it.

She moved forward.

[Emi Akiyama]

"Crap crap crap!!" Emi exclaimed as she ran. She was already gonna be late for school at this rate, so she didn't even know why she was running... But she stopped when she saw someone looking out towards the ocean. She ran toward the girl, and she panicked when she started walking forward, going to grab her arm. "H-Hey, wait a sec!"

[Katsu Arai]

Someone being there, speaking to her, let alone stopping her just shocked her. She had put all of her focus and effort into doing this, just trying to gain the energy to go over the side. She fell back at the contact, all of her mental energy being wasted on her broken focus as she passed out.

[Emi Akiyama]

Emi's eyes widened as she caught Katsu. "Um..." she said, not sure what exactly she could do...

[Katsu Arai]

She was unconscious. All of her strength was gone after that.

Emi tried to lift her up... but she wasn't strong enough to carry her.

She wasn't able to do anything to help.

Emi sighed, and just sat with the unconscious girl... waiting for her to get up.

When she finally started to wake up, she groaned, not doing very well or being very comfortable right now. Her body ached.

"Oh! You''re awake! Thank goodness..."

[Katsu Arai]

She looked to Emi, "Why did you stop me?"

[Emi Akiyama]

"You were going to fall."

[Katsu Arai]

"Jump," she said, starting to cough.

[Emi Akiyama]

"Jump, sorry... Wait, were you...?"

[Katsu Arai]

She continued to cough and nodded.
