He crossed his arms. "But, I suppose you'll have to settle for me." Steve nodded. "Captain Lee, presumed MIA in 1945, present sir. Are you trying to get me back in the world?"
Fury looks at them both. "We're trying to save it."

"I think you'd both best sit down." Fury says, and once Steve does, along with Kari, he speaks. "There was an idea...to bring together a group of remarkable people. So that when we needed them, they could fight the battles we never could. This idea, originally called the Avengers Initiative, was developed in the eighties...after the world almost experienced an alien invasion. Turns out, those aliens had friends back home. And now they know about us too." He paused for a moment, to let that sink in.

"Ah, the Imagin. These little balls of light that possess people and do terrible things so they can go back in time, right?" He nods. "The world's in plenty of danger. And Japan ain't the only country that's been attacked. The US Government isn't as comfortable as yours is with "leaving it to vigilantes" that don't answer to anyone. No offense."
"So what's changed?" Steve asked him. "We found some kinda strange cube in the Southwest region. Apparently it's got a lot of power....and the aliens want it. The Avengers Initiative has been revived, as the Aero Force...and I can think of no better person to lead them in the field, then that man right there. You know who he is?" He asked Karazu.

"He was known among the men as Captain America. We never officially gave him the name...but he was known as a hero, and it stuck on a lot of fictional work." Fury shrugged. "Take a minute to think about it." he gave, getting up and walking over to the other side of the car.
Steve leans in close to Karazu. "What do you think? It...sounds like I'm needed, but I value your opinion."

"Will I see you again?" Steve asked her. Almost feeling vulnerable in that moment, or at least, looking that way to her. Like he was a young man again, and not the hero everyone thought him to be.
Fury took that moment to admire the look of the car. It was interesting.

Fury comes back over. "Well Cap'n...what do you think?"
Steve looks up. "If it's to serve my country sir, I'm in. I did so much in the war...I'd rather be where I'm most useful. Not as the perfect soldier, sir. But a good man."
A grin comes to the Director's face. "I was hopin' you'd say that. And in that exact way. We don't have to leave right away....you can say your good-byes, and I wouldn't mind a drink, or being pointed to where I can get one."
