Thom stood in the abandoned casino on the outskirts of his hometown. He'd known that there were ghosts in this place since he'd first made his contract, but something had happened to them. They'd become violent, evil. They were straying from their anchor, and were killing people in the city proper. And he was the only one capable of doing anything. Unless they chose to manifest in Daylight. He held his Keystone at the ready, looking around and waiting for the spirits to make their presence known.

The front door came crashing down.....
"Knock. Knock," grinned Ash after having kicked down said door.
He looked around before resting his eyes on some guy, "Seen any Demons around here?"

"Do poltergeists count?" Thom replied, looking around warily. His hand shot up, catching a poker chip that had been flung at his head by an invisible hand. "Actually, more like ghosts driven mad. If they manifest, we're screwed."

"Poltergeist?" Ash walked in and over to the man, "You mean the 1982 film directed by Tobe Hooper? You know the one with the little girl that gets sucked into a TV."

"That was my first scary movie, but that's hardly here nor there." Thom said, looking around. Something rattled. "How typical. Do I have to cross over, or can we do this on my turf?" "Well, that depends, Sin Eater." A unearthly voice stated as the ghost of a man dressed like an old-timey gangster complete with tommy gun phased into existence in front of Thom. "How do you feel that would end for you?" "Alone and over the line, I stand around a 1/9 chance of winning. On my ground, 1/15." Thom said. "If he's competent, 1/8."

"Huh?" Ash titled his head, "I've never seen a horror flick featuring gangsters before. Must've been way before my time."
He whipped out his Scream Camera and pushed Thompson out of the way.
"You better getta out here, kid. I'm a professional."

"I'm the exorcist here, asshole." Thom said, shoving Ash away. "Let's do this on your terms, then." The gangster ghost said, snapping his fingers. Around ten more ghosts appeared surrounding them. "You're going to have to handle the brunt of it, old friend." Thom said. "Thomas, I am powerful beyond imagination. I can handle it." The Man of Many Keys's disembodied voice stated before he appeared beside Thom, drawing a naval saber out a keyhole on his left forearm.

"Wow! What the hell?!" Ash shouted when the Many of Many Keys materialized, "Must be some David Lynch type shit! I better suit up.."
Ash then pressed the button on his Scream Camera and extended his arm, while shouting “Action, Violent!”. He quickly removed his prosthetic arm and tossed it aside before a stream of violet light projected backwards at him from the Scream Camera and his suit formed from film that wraps around him. As the transformation ends he attaches his chainsaw gauntlet onto his right arm stub and declares “Violent Slasher!”
He pulled the shotgun off his back and cocked it, which he is quite capable of doing even if one of his arms is a chainsaw. He's had plenty of on the job practice.
"AND. THIS. IS MY BOOMSTICK!"

"Nice catchphrase." Thom said. "Geist Change." The Man passed through Thom, forming his armor in Daylight. "More exhausting than I thought. I shall fight them in Twilight." The Man stated, fading and crossing the line. "Time for you both to die." The gangster ghost said, raising his tommy gun and opening fire on Ash. "I hope that boomstick of yours can damage ectoplasmic beings!" Thom yelled.

"Can ghost bullets even hit solid matter?" he wondered before one grazed him in the shoulder, "Yep."
He took cover behind an overturned table before returning fire.

"They can if the ghost manifests in Daylight." Thom said, vaulting over a table and banishing a ghost with a single hook from his arm with the Angelo Geister, blocking some bullets from a pistol held by another ghost with it. The gangster took a hit, blowing away the upper left quarter of his chest. Despite having nothing to attach to, his left arm hung in midair, still fully usable. And fully used to continue firing at Ash.

"And it seems my bullets work on them too," he remarked while continuing to fire, "Groovy."

"Since when has anyone said "groovy"?" Thom asked, pausing for a moment to contemplate and taking a ghostly bullet to the chest, diving behind a roulette table for cover. The next round took out the gangster's left thigh. He continued forward, his bullets beginning to mulch the table Ash was hiding behind.

Being in need of new cover, Ash did a barrel roll or two before finding himself next to Thompson.
"I'm guessing these guys aren't the kind of Demons i'm used to dealing with. Mind filling me in here?"

"These guys are your average run of the mill ghosts, but something had driven them mad. I know these ghosts, and it pains me to have to deal with them in this manner, but that gangster is new. Something tells me he's more than a ghost, perhaps one of your demons." Thom explained.
