Ties To The Past [Clive]

[Clive and Luna]

"Ah I see, what kind of work do you do these days?" Clive asked.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"I'm an Occult Detective, it kind of goes hand-in-hand with my responsibilities as a Magician." She told them from within the kitchen, "You probably think its kind of lame though, don't you? I know my younger sister can't stop making jokes about it."

[Clive and Luna]

"No, no I don't think it's lame. I'm kind of the same, though I mostly do it by travelling around the globe looking into the paranormal and whatnot," as Clive frowned, "you have a younger sister?" he asked.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"Yes, her name's Hana, she lives with my Dad still though." She explained, coming back into the room with a tray with three cups of tea and a small platter of assorted cookies. She smiled warmly as she set the tray down on the table, "There, its ready." She took a seat, brushing some hair out of her face.

[Clive and Luna]

"Thank you," Clive said as he and Luna took the tea and drank it, "I didn't know you had a sister...is she anything like you?" he asked.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"Completely different." Rikka closed her eyes as she sipped her own tea, "She's a lot more out-going and likes to go and party, she's been avoiding responsibility lately, using our Dad's money for her shopping-spree's." She exhaled roughly.

[Clive and Luna]

"Well I suppose that's normal girl behaviour," Clive said, "I'm sure she'll settle down soon and start taking her responsibilities seriously," he said as he sipped his tea, "how is your father by the way?" he asked.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"Quite well, he's come to terms with Mom's passing--he knew the responsibilities she had very well, and he knew what he was getting himself into when he married her and had a family with her." Rikka closed her eyes again, smiling weakly, "He takes trips every now and then to England to speak with the Association of Magicians there concerning my Mother's passing, I don't know what exactly there is to clear up, maybe he talks to them about my Sister and I. My Father's no magician, although he is a worrywart and a man of an able-mind, so I suppose where he lacks in magic he makes up for with genius." Rikka somewhat mused as she remembered her Father.

[Clive and Luna]

"That's good to hear, you're lucky that your father is able to come to terms with magic, some half-blood families sometimes have difficulty with spouses who aren't magicians. It's a common thing, but never amounts to anything more then arguments," Clive said. He then put his tea down, "So other then an occult detective what other part-time jobs do you do?"

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"Nothing really, did I give the impression that I did more?" She looked at Clive and smiled, "Although I did use to serve as a Waitress in a Maid Cafe a few months ago. Suffice to say, I'm not cut out for that kind of job." She only giggled timidly as she had flashes in her mind.

[Clive and Luna]

Clive laughed, "A waitress huh? Never really thought of you being a waitress honestly, though I didn't know being an occult detective was a lucrative job either," he said.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

"Don't start getting images of me in a Maid Outfit now!" She scolded, although teasing him at the same time. She closed her eyes and looked away, placing a hand on her cheek as her fingers touched her hair lightly, "I don't think I could feel comfortable, even if it were you..~" She made a bit of a giggle.

[Clive and Luna]

Clive smiled back, "I would never have such thoughts," he said as he looked at her, "you always were pretty, in whatever dress you wore," he replied.

[Rikka Matsuoka]

She immediately grew flustered, "A-ah I um..." She stammered, looking down, grabbing her teacup and drinking it without a word.

[Clive and Luna]

Clive laughed, "Haha, it's always fun to tease you Rikka," he said.
