Retsu followed each leap, his coat flowing out behind, hand resting on his hilt.

Takato leapt off the final roof and landed in a crouch, rising to face the Horror. It had possessed a young woman, and she turned to face them without moving any limbs, simply sliding along the ground. Her movements were queer, jerky, almost like she were a marionette.
"Oh dear. Takato, we have a problem." Zaruba said.
"He's rising again." Takato said. "But he should have died after the night attack."

Retsu landed, clearing his sword from its scabbard, "What are you talking about?"

"I've encountered Horrors of this kind before. They served one named Legules, an Apostle." Takato said, drawing the Garoken.
"Essentially, their return means Legules survived his attack on Kantai years ago." Zaruba chimed in.

The woman began to move very rapidly, changing into a black and red-robed figure with a white mask that had black lines running down from the eyes and blades for hands. It clicked and shuddered when it moved.
"They're somewhat persistent, but that's a bit rare." Takato said as he charged, blocking an attack and kicking it in the gut. Two more rose out of the shadows behind them, moving surprisingly silently.

"Retsu!" Kyzasha called.
Retsu span around, seeing the other two, moving and attacking one before it could strike and then kicking the other, just trying to keep one back so he could fight the other.

"Two more. BARON has them covered." Zaruba said.
"He'll be fine. He's a Knight, after all." Takato said, blocking another attack and leaping over it. slashing at the back of it's head.

Retsu went with swift slashes into one and jumped at the other, kicking it square in the chest in an attempt to knock it back. He sent his focus back to the other one, leaping back for it and slashing it a single time.

They both took damage, but nothing really too serious. They attacked both at the same time, in perfect synch.
The Horror took the slash, turned and swung at Takato, but he had already dashed backward.
"Too slow." Takato said as he charged low, slashing at the waist.

Retsu dodged away, slid back, and dashed forward, going for a slash at their necks.

One dodged back, the other was not so lucky, it's head separating from it's body. The headless body swung at Retsu, still kicking, as the other circled around to attack from the other direction.

"Still going?" he muttered, dodging aside. He swung his sword up, drawing a halo and summoning his armor. As soon as he was armored, lightning infused through his blade, so he leapt forward, cutting at both.

"There's that persistence I mentioned." Takato said as he nearly cut the Horror in half, turning to see it was still going. He stuck his sword into the air and summoned his own armor, charging again for the kill.
The headless one fell to the blade and was destroyed instantly, but the other dodged and attacked again, limbs clicking as it moved.
