The Golden Knight remained unmoving as he laid buried. He could perhaps break out and continue his assault but he had suffered injury just as Jack had. It would be risky to break out and continue an assault, as another direct hit from that Wave could be enough to leave him in critical condition.

Jack stumbled over to his weapon, drawing it out of the ground and converting it to firearm mode. He leveled it at the Knight's location, steadying his arm and getting ready to open fire, instead of wasting the Lights again.

Camden, by this point, had managed to work the temple door open and was rappelling into the interior. There appeared to be a smaller pyramid inside of the temple, and he rappelled until he was standing on top of it. He held up the Star of the Nile, but had to shield his eyes as the light reflected off of the enormous amount of gold inside the temple. "Oh boy." Camden said, excited.

Before Jack could open fire, the Golden Knight whom had already come to terms with the futility of continuing this battle right now--had entered his spirit form. Slipping through the cracks of the rubble, his spirit had went deeper into the temple, heading towards Camden--of course he by no means possessed ill-will towards the man. At least, he wouldn't until he was able to judge his worth.
The Golden Spirit generated a bit before the area Camden was in, solidifying and becoming the Golden Knight again he panted. "These injuries... I almost forgot that the Precious can do as well as damage to me as anything else. Despite being born of them." He told himself as he clenched his chest lightly, still in possession of the Sword he decided to head in direction of Camden on foot now.

Jack opened fire, hoping that he would do damage, unaware that the Knight was gone.

Camden heard footsteps. He drew his pistol and continued to search through the temple, climbing down the smaller, inner pyramid to see what lay inside.

The rubble was blasted apart, revealing to Jack that the Knight had escaped from his soft burial.
While Golden Knight continued to walk after where Camden had went. Meaning no ill-intent, although he was prepared to fight if necessary. Albeit he remained somewhat drained from his quarrel with Jack. He still persisted onward, all for the Precious.

Camden forced open a stone door that had settled over the years, and saw the Precious sitting on an altar. He walked forward to grab it.

"Halt." The voice of Golden Knight boomed, "I cannot allow you to take that Precious and misuse it upon the world." He told Camden, "You're an affiliate of that other, are you not? Which means you may possess the same impure aspirations for the Precious..!" He declared, standing behind Camden.

Camden whipped around and trained his gun on the Knight. "First off, Nightlight, that is an unfair generalization. I grab these Precious to keep them from falling into the wrong hands. It's entirely likely I'm going to use this later on, but only if it's necessary."

Golden Knight stared Camden down, remaining silent for a few moments before making a hearty laugh, "Is that so?" He simply stated, "I can feel something... different about you in comparison to your companion, there exists an air of honesty about you." He pointed out, "Although, I still can't help but finding you untrustworthy of the Precious--considering the man with you was an accomplice was he not?" The Golden Knight's temper seemed to have calmed to a point but he was still questionable of Camden's intentions.

"He's my boss. He followed me here. He does that." Camden said, lowering the gun slightly.

"In other words, you deny any similarity in intention?" The Golden Knight questioned again.

"I'm not certain what his intentions are, but I am merely securing this to keep it from falling into the wrong hands." Camden answered.

"I sense truth in your words." He lowered his arms, becoming less aggressive. "Very well, I entrust the Precious to you, however I do not do so to that man whom was with you. Keep it for him, for if it should enter his hands I will come to collect his life as penance for what he has done." He told Camden rather cryptically.
