"One hell of a bunker." John said, giving the evil eye to Serena. Serena was practically poised right behind Courtney's head by this point, and she froze.

"Yeah, I....what are you doing?" Courtney caught a glimpse of the evil eye. Then she turned around, finding herself face to face with Serena. She gave a cry of surprise and nearly fell over backwards.

"Giggles? My personal entertainment?" Serena proffered, flipping and landing on her feet. "Getting to exercise these damn bracelets for the first time in weeks?" She indicated the flat black bands around her wrists and ankles.
