Michelle was taking damage now. She kept trying to block as many attacks as she could, but was visibly tiring.

Lisbeth showed no signs of slowing down with her attacking - in fact she seemed to be speeding up.

Michelle kept trying until an attack connected with her head, knocking her out cold. She slumped against the rock, dropping the rod.

Lisbeth wanted to test something out. She dived for the rod and when she had it firmly in her hand, she struck at Mordis.

Michelle was still unconscious, slumped against the pillar of stone.

Mordis, almost dead now, vanished into the shadows. Small tendrils of shadow began creeping around Michelle's unconscious form, securing themselves around her body at various places, before Mordis rose from the shadows behind Lisbeth and attacked her.
