"Get ready to run," he whispered in her direction.
He then strolled causually towards the two men, "Gentlemen, if you would please get out your IDs and insurance information, i will gladly help pay for the damages. Just need to know your adresses, date of birth, etc and varify that you are indeed legal citizens of the United States."
When the two went into the cars or into their wallets looking for their paperwork, Jean dashed over to Tess, yanked her by the arm, and ran full speed down the street.

She ran as soon as he grabbed her, keeping pace with him and looking back, smiling in amusement.

Jean kept on running until he was both out of breath and the two men were nowhere to be seen.
