Marching towards them were several golden knights armed with broadswords, heavily armoured yet they move in such synchronisation Tanya would've said that they were machines.

"Leave some for me!" Miguel yelled back, as he and Jonathan forged ahead. Jonathan opened fire on a knight, while Miguel locked swords with another.

Kirsten transformed and lifted her guns, opening fire as Blake continued to pull Tanya along, trying to leave the way they came.

But the knights blocked all exit paths as the shot seemed to simply merely stagger them instead of doing any real damage, one of them got close to Blake and raised its sword to strike them down.

"That's probably a good idea." Miguel said as he and Jonathan also both transformed, Miguel using the longer blade and Jonathan firing the shotgun point-blank at the one going for Blake.

Tanya fell down as she saw the sword descending on her as she closed her eyes and whimpered, but the sword did not fall on her. Instead the knight seemed to be looking at her intently, like he was watching her, he then whispered softly so only Tanya could hear it, You... as Tanya looked at him. The knight then said something in a language that Tanya understood to be Latin, immediately all the other knights seemed to double their efforts to fight the Impact Crew, while the knights that were nearby seemed to be protecting Tanya as she stood up and moved slowly towards the golden door, as one the knights also moved with her forming a protective formation.
