Nichol took some sharp steps, skirting about until he was behind Oliver's back. "You're younger than I am, and that's enough for me."

Nichol laughed again, swinging his arm back and shooting over Oliver's shoulder, hitting a monster head in the face. "Too bad, so sad, I'm doing it anyway."

"Man, you sound childish...," he muttered, swinging his sword down and unleashing a burst of ice shards into another.

"Says the one making such a fuss about a nickname." He laughed, flailing his arm seemingly randomly, but firing off six shots that all hit their marks. "There's a whole hell of a lot of these bastards. Seems like they're after something."

"I'm sure they wouldn't just appear without a reason," Oliver said, swinging his sword out a few more times, unleashing darts of ice with each swing.

"Jump!" Nichol shouted, dropping into another spin, and firing in all directions, barely missing Oliver's foot.

Oliver landed after his jump and rolled forward, coming back up to his feet and slicing through a few of them, entering into close combat again.
