Desolate Zone [Open]

[Hikari Rei]

Presently, certain animals presented themselves to her, and upon looking at them closely...they were injured in various ways. One had a broken bone in its leg...but the other three held it up...one had a fractured femur in its front leg...and one of the bird's wings was broken.

She extended one hand...the first animal coming to her...and she gently held the injured leg...holding her other hand over it...as it began to glow softly, pure Light radiating down and mending the broken bone, forging again the bonds broken. She took the other's leg in her hand, holding it straight...and holding her hand over it again, repeating the process...strengthening the bone tissue as it was mended back together.

Holding her arm out...the bird with the broken wing climbed onto it...and she gently extended it...holding her hand over it, and accelerating the natural growth within reason, using the Light to do that again...and the bird flew.

Rei had taken a risk...trusting this girl....but her instincts told her she could.

Tia watched in awe and amazement, "You...you can do something like this?" she asked, looking at Rei, "What are you?"

[Hikari Rei]

Rei looked up at her. "What does your heart tell you?" she gave softly. "But...I will answer you. I am someone that carries the bond handed down from one person to the next...the Light that eclipses the darkness. It chose me to be the Deunamist...its host."

"I don't understand what you mean," she said.

[Hikari Rei]

"The easiest way, is to show you." Rei gave, standing up again..and bringing out the Evol Truster. It remained silent for a moment, before gently pulsing once...twice....like the heartbeat of a person...reacting to the device that Tia had, that was hidden on her. "I can't tell you too much about this power...mainly because I don't know a lot about it myself."

She nodded, "What do you know of what it can do?" she asked.

[Hikari Rei]

"It guides me in my travels, if the need arises....it alerts me to the presence of darkness, or evil, in my immediate area....and, if I have to...I can use the power to fight...and clad myself in the armor of the Light, whether on the ground...or otherwise."

"I'm a warrior of the sky," she said, "We don't have anyone with the power of light."

[Hikari Rei]

"It feels good though, the freedom of the sky." Rei said with a smile.

She nodded, "It does, the times I've been in it. But most of those are fighting."

[Hikari Rei]

"I've had my moments both fighting and not. It was great." Rei gave, before turning, the animals scattering as they sensed another figure was coming.

Tia looked at the animals as they left, wondering about that.

"We are not alone." Rei gave softly, crossing her arms.

She smiled, "That's my brother," she told Rei.

Aiden was walking towards them with a hand in his pocket, the other one lifted to give a short wave as he came over to them.

Rei gave a small nod of her head to Tia, and gave a small wave in return, analyzing him as well...having already put the EvolTruster back in her jacket, but not zipped it up all the way.
