"You can't expect things to happen so quickly," she told him, "Feelings don't work that way."

"I expected nothing." Robert gave. "I'm going out." he added, walking out of her sight and out of the house. Hopefully, he could find some peace in the woods, to calm the raging fire that always burned quicker than normal. Surely she could have seen that? But whatever. They wanted a fighter anyway, right? He would be a sword, not a man. Maybe he could find some enemies to take out his frustration on.

She watched him go. She felt bad, but she didn't have feelings for him, so she went back to her bedroom.

The little Origami followed, and sat outside and to the right of the door to Ayane's room, while Robert took a small tree branch, tossing it up in the air and then punching through it. He hadn't met anyone like her before....no one that was attractive like that....but none of that mattered...none of that reasoning mattered. So...he'd hide it.

A few Nanashi began to spring up around him, having detected his Mojikara, and rushed him with their blades.

"Ohh ho....I'm in a really bad mood right now...so this is perfect!" Robert yelled, Shinkenmaru in hand as he blocked one sword, spinning around and slashing through another one. Dropping low, he blocked another slash behind his back, turning and spinning around in a wide motion, giving himself a little space. He'd fight these guys without his suit, and if he got hurt, then screw it, he got hurt.

There were about two dozen Nanashi, but that was all. They kept rushing in, using the trees to their advantage.

And so they did, forcing him back with coordinated hits, while he was blocking each of them. a double-kick sent him to the ground. When he got up, the edge of a Nanashi sword was right in front of his shoulder. He started laughing, walking forward, gritting his teeth as the blade tasted flesh for a moment, ripping the sword from the Nanashi and beating the crap out of him with it. Then he drew the Fire Kanji, stabbing his sword through it and resting it on his shoulder as the ShinkenRed suit appeared on him, and he threw the common disk out and around, aiming to hit a lot of them.

The Nanashi were wasted quickly, most of them going down.

He formed the Daizanto and finished off the rest of them with a couple of big slashes...the weight felt like nothing to him, but after they were gone, he sighed. It had been a good venting of frustration...but....
Oh well. He de-morphed and started walking back, conscious of the fact his shirt was torn and there was blood on it. He'd bandage it up himself.

Ayane went back out, not planning on returning home for some time, having things to do in town, so she wouldn't be there when he came back.

He got home, not noticing the Origami as he went, tending to his wound with water and a cloth drawn from Mojikara.
