"Did you get letters as well? My locker would sometimes overflow with them...especially after I became my high school's Queen." she said. "Now I'm transferred here, a nobody basically."

"Oh loads of letters, some were good ones like telling me I was clever and that they wished I would talk more to them, as well as dating them," Luna said inferring that those letters were mostly from attention-seeking boys to which she ignored them, "but most were quite scathing calling me know it all and threatening me and childish stuff like that," it had hurt Luna when she read those letters. She hoped that she wouldn't suffer the same thing she suffer here in Avalon that she did in her previous school, but who really knew?
"Must have been nice to be your high school's Queen," Luna said genuinely, "I bet you had loads of people ask you out, or even be around you to boost their own popularity." Luna smiled when she said that she was a nobody here, "Don't worry Shiori, you'll have me to talk to if you feel lonely," she said.

Shiori looked over at her and smiled. "Thank you, Luna-san." she said. "My letters were from mostly boys, and a few girls, asking me to date them. I couldn't, of course....so I ignored them mostly. I'm sorry you got the bad letters, though I got a few of those too."

Luna went over to Shiori as she told her that although she got mostly positive, and glowing, letters from her 'fans' she did get some bad letters. She sat down next to Shiori and hugged her, Luna didn't really think much about such things mostly because that was what her mother would do whenever she got a bad letter, perhaps she thought that it would work the same for Shiori, "It's okay Shiori, they're just words, they can't hurt you," she whispered though she knew the emotional pain that came with such letters...at least Shiori wasn't bombarded with them everyday.

Shiori leaned her head back a little, partially resting it on Luna's shoulder and partially looking at her. "Same goes for you...please be proud of who you are, and be proud to be free." she said, not minding the embrace at all. "Because I won't judge you."

Luna gave a small smile as she nodded, "I'll try Shiori, at least I know now that I have a friend that I can go to if I ever need someone to talk to," she said wishing that one day she would be free from her parent's regime.

"That you do. And...you can talk to me about anything." Shiori said. "And I do mean...anything." she whispered the last part softly, logging on to her laptop while in the embrace.

Luna heard the last part and giggled, no one had ever done that to her and it made her heart beat excitedly, "Anything huh?" she whispered back, "Alright then I'll keep that in mind the next time I ask something...kinky," she said as she looked at Shiori's laptop.

"AKB48...never heard of them, are they famous in Japan?" Luna asked, "I normally listen to classical music like Mozart and all that, people say I'm old fashioned, but I like it."
