Rai walked through Tokyo's streets, taking in the looks of Earth. His apprentice should be arriving soon, so he might get to go home. He wanted to take in the sights before he left the planet, just to see what Earth was like.
He missed Jya. He went and sat on a bench, pulling out a picture of her as a baby. The only picture he had with both of them. Aya had already died by that time.
"Soon, I pray," he whispered.

Nearby, a floating saucer hovered in mid-air, harmlessly, not attracting any attention. A woman stood atop it, in a lab-coat, pink t-shirt and blue jeans, and black shoes, laptop in arm, goggles on her face, working on a new project that she'd spurred herself to do.

He slid the picture back into his coat and stood up with a sigh, walking away.

She looked up, noticing the man. Curious, she ran a search of him...though it didn't come up with much. "Interesting.." she said softly, still working.

He took notice and stopped, "What is that thing?" he asked, regarding the saucer.

He shook his head, "My Commander has been trying to get me that stuff for years and years, young one. I'll tell you the same. I like my gear."

"Thought I'd ask. No harm done." Natsumi said with a smile, looking down at her work again, the gadgets moving around and making various noises, the Fang gadget perched atop her head.
