Ayumi walked home from school as her newfound bracelet felt cold against her wrist, her parents had asked where she had gotten it from and she almost told the truth. However she simply said that she had gotten it from a shop, it was a small lie, but Ayumi didn't want to part with the bracelet at all. She felt some sort of power hiding in it, her spiritual senses told her that much, but how to tap into that power was the question, "What am I thinking?" she asked herself, "There's no way there is any sort of power in this."

Sae hadn't gone to school. She was at her usual park, looking at the water. Normally she would have care in her eyes, and be actually showing some life. Now she was just sitting with eyes that showed nothing. Her despair and pain were too great.

Ayumi walked towards the park before noticing a girl looking at the water, she wondered what she was doing just looking at it, she then felt a great pain in her head as she winced. That normally meant that something dark was around here as her eyes looked at Sae making her approach the girl carefully, "Ano...are you alright?" she asked.

She looked at Ayumi with her pained eyes, "I'm fine," she said softly. She didn't want to talk about this at all, she just kind of wanted this girl to go.

She nodded, "I'm sure," she said softly. Maybe she was a little lost. She didn't know in the least.

Ayumi smiled as her hands reached down to the water and disturbed it, "You know, back home we have this well that's always full of water, my grandfather told me that water is pure...that's why it's used a lot in ceremonies, it cleanses the soul and," looking at Sae, "it refreshes us so we can start anew."

"That's why I like to come here. Water is peaceful and pure, and this park is nice and quiet. The pond is always undisturbed, so it always reminds me of clarity and peace," she said, not getting up from the bench.

"I agree," Ayumi said, "sometimes I come here to think and relax," sitting next to Sae. "Sometimes I can hear the spirits talking to me, telling me about the different people that they see today."

"Hmm let's see," Ayumi said closing her eyes and perking her ear towards the water, she didn't need to do that to hear the spirits, but she could hear them well enough, "they say...that you're in pain, something happened to you and you're in despair...they want someone to help you."
