"If you won't, then you can be hostage, or bait."

Lamier went silent knowing that her brother would rush in to save her, she would have to make the first move and try to escape Jayce.

He got up and walked to his cockpit. He didn't need to watch her very much for the moment.

When Jayce got into his cockpit Lamier took the opportunity to roll herself towards the water, she would rather drown then help Jayce with whatever he was planning. However she also hoped that the waves would bring her closer to her brother, whether dead or alive.

He looked back, but she was gone. He jumped from his cockpit and saw her down in the water. He sighed and walked down the slope, "What are you trying to do?" he asked.

"Damn..." she muttered, so she got wet for nothing, "thought that the wave would carry me away from you," she admitted.

He laughed. It was a laugh of amusement, but not one of cruelty. It almost seemed like he was his old self for a moment. He sighed and walked into the water a little, helping to get her up, "Come on," he said, not as coldly.

Lamier said nothing as she was helped up, maybe she could find a rock to cut her way through the vines.

He pulled her away from the ocean, leading her around until he found a cave nearby.
"Closer than yours," he said. He looked up, "And it looks like the storm is about to get worse."

Lamier simply grunted as she entered the cave, she didn't want to get soaked and get sick, that would make things much harder as she sat at a dark corner of the cave.

"Stay," he told her, leaving for a short time.
--
A little later there was a fire and a lot of wood stockpiled. He had brought in boughs from trees and put them in a corner. He had told her he didn't want her to get sick, so he had taken her wet clothing from her and given her his jacket to cover herself with while her clothes dried by the fire.

Lamier had stayed when he told her to stay, there was no sense in running around the place in the rain, her best chance was to simply stay put. Afterwards she felt a burning fire as she didn't say anything, although she was grateful for it, but the jacket...well she accepted the jacket half-heartedly.

He looked away from her, out towards the rain, not paying her any attention anymore.

She huddled closer to the fire and curled up, she needed to get warmer, she wondered where her brother was and what he was doing now. Her eyes began to close as she soon fell into a deep sleep.

He let her sleep as he looked outside. He didn't care about her right now.
