Rei nodded, saying nothing. Allies were always a good idea, but he'd have blood on his hands if they were wounded or killed by this menace he had helped unleash. But the trust of this one would be needed if he was going to see the hybrid. He folded his legs under him and sat on the floor of the canal, legs in the lotus position, and began to meditate. He needed peace to think.
