Ryu looked up at him,hesitated, but nodded slightly,"Right...thanks, I guess...I was entrusted with this power and I'm gonna do everything I can to keep it safe,ya have my word." He revved up,"See ya around." He rode off down the street, secretly wanting to get away from him.
"So, ZECT's taken an interest in us,eh?" He wondered to himself,"Guess we gotta stay on our toes...and maybe do a little snooping of our own."

Meanwhile, Joji had been correct. Section troops were already moving in, along with a Kaizo Ningen called Knife Armadillo. They were moving in on Ryu's location.

The men in black with the gasmasks rushed out first. The modified human remained behind while they attacked his bike, running at it.

Instead of slowing down, Ryu increased the speed than at the last moment, turned his bike sideways,still moving.

The grunts stopped as Knife Armadillo dropped down, covered in an offwhite leather uniform in the design of an armadillo, with a long blade along his right arm. He swung at the bike.
