Alex walked into the gym, happy to do some training. Often times she didn't do her training in public because of her unusual powers, but today she was in a good mood. She got a cup of instant coffee before heading to a speed bag.

Some of Cass's men wanted to work on real equipment, so while they were coming back from Mexico on a series of planes, they were here. They went to work while Cass walked around. It didn't matter if it was real equipment or not, but he had no reason to waste his time to actually use some.

Alex went to town on the speed bag, punching it as hard as she could. As she did, the ice blue and silver energy gathered in her fist. Intending just to strengthen the punch, she accidentally froze and shattered it. The some of the pieces fell to the ground but one flew towards a man (Cass) who was in the gym.

Cass turned and saw it. He caught it and looked at the frozen piece of speed bag. He looked around, seeing Alex, and where it must have been hanging. He walked over. At least he had a knife on him if anything went wrong. There was clearly something off here.

"Oh good" Alex said. She noticed her raised right hand was still glowing, and as subtly as possible when your hand on cold fire, extinguished it.
