The Gigavir kept its distance, shooting the occasional energy blast. Some destroyed windows in nearby buildings, some just webbed up nearby statues.

The Gigavir blasted a lamppost close to the hostages, if only to point out they were there to the two. The Gigavir then charged at Adrien, jumping at him with its claws.

He swung his blade for the claws, attempting to target them, rather than the Gigavir.

The Gigavir webbed Adrien's foot to the ground, before turning. "Now where's the other one" the Gigavir said, looking around.

Terumi snickered, as he finished his calculations that he'd been preparing whilst Adrien distracted the foe. As Adrien went down, Terumi rushed in, extremely quietly thanks to his pads, and raised his hand behind the Gigavir. "Right here, ugly." He said with a grin, slamming his hand into the Gigavir's back and unleashing a large amount of pent-up force.

The Spider was thrown far aside by the force. It skidded along the ground, before coming to a stop on its hands and knees. The Gigavir blasted away at Terumi.

Terumi tapped his Transpod, transferring he Drive Shaft to him. Using it, he spun the weapon around wildly, blocking most of the shots from the Gigavir, except one that grazed his left shoulder, leaving a pretty nasty burn. "Gyah, that smarts! Stupid arachnid pest!"

The Spider charged two white blasts in its hands, bigger than the previous web blasts.

Terumi saw the larger energy blasts being charged, and thought to prepare a force release from his foot pawpads to dodge and attack, but realized that he'd used up all of the stored kinetic energy. "Oh frak." He said, deciding to just run and duck behind cover.
