"Awesomesauce. Here he comes." Camden said, waiting. The host bashed through the door and spied the kids, huddled in the corner, and prepared to leap.
"NOW!" Camden yelled.

He threw both of his hands out, using a basic light spell to create an intense flash in the room of brilliant blinding light.

The host covered his eyes, reeling, as Camden leapt in, clamping the jumper cables on.
"And then there was LIFE!" Camden yelled, throwing the lever and sending about a gazillion volts of electricity flowing into the Spine, causing electricity to arc all over the host and the host to scream in pain, arching his back as the Spine began to writhe, as if in pain.

"I think so." Camden replied. With a final, climactic EMP explosion that killed the power to the whole town, the Spine of the Saracen detached from the man's back and began to move sluggishly across the floor. Thinking quickly, Camden grabbed the nearest heavy object- a sledgehammer being used in the remodeling- and began to bring it down on the Spine repeatedly, trying to break it.

It writhed for a few seconds then burst apart, the pieces clattering to the floor.
"Wwll, that's done." Camden said, picking up the unconscious former host and dragging him out towards the village clinic. It had a backup generator, which had kicked in a few minutes after the EMP, and thus, was still operating
