From the Shadows (SAYUMI AND REINA)

[Yami no Yaiba]

Yami chuckled, "Sorry about that," she said as she patted her head, "but don't worry...this can just stay between us," she said, "and your partner too if you want."

[Reina Tanaka]

Having received a call from Sayumi a few hours prior, Reina appeared in a cloud of smoke near her and Yami. She was surprised to see Sayumi hanging out around an unfamiliar face to her, but as the pseudo-leader of the two, it was natural she would be trying to make allies.

"Sayumi-chan! I'm sorry I'm a bit late!" she said, walking quickly, almost at a light jog, up to the two. She stared for a second before she noticed the red shade of Sayumi's face, "Oh, Sacchan! Your face!" she exclaimed, cupping her partner's cheeks, turning her head side to side, as if to examine her face, "Your face matches your suit! Are you sick?" she asked, sounding half concerned, but half like she was joking, pressing the back of her hand to Sayumi's forehead.

[Sayumi Michishige]

Sayumi just got even worst now, with Reina touching her face and being close to her. "I-I'm fine Reina-chan, d-don't worry about me." Between Yami and Reina, she felt like her head could just burst. "Yami-chan, this is my partner and the co-leader of the Shadows of Ikazuchi; Tanaka Reina-chan." She introduced her Partner to Yami, "And Reina this is a ally of our from the Haji Mon Clan, her name is Yami."

[Yami no Yaiba]

Yami had to control herself not to start laughing at the sight in front of her, the two girls were very cute when they cared about each other, it was a good thing and a bad thing since that can be taken advantage of. But she knew that the two girls can take care of each other as she was introduced to the girl as she bowed respectfully, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you Reina-san, I am pleased to meet the co-leader of the Shadows of Ikazuchi," she said, "I look forward to your progress."

[Reina Tanaka]

Reina puffed out her lips a bit, giving Sayumi an unsure look, "Well, if you say so, Sacchan, I just don't want you getting sick, that's all," she said with a grin, patting Sayumi's red cheeks before turning her attention to Yami.

"Haji...Mon...Clan..?" she said somewhat slowly. As if out of reflex, next thing she did was examine Yami's clothing, Sayumi's words being somewhat blocked out of her mind. Her way of dressing wasn't anything special to her, though it wasn't bad. Though, Yami being an ally, she wasn't about to criticize her during their first meeting.

"I'm Tanaka Reina," she said simply with a bow, "It's nice to mee you, Yami-san, I hope we can take care of each other during work in the future."

[Yami no Yaiba]

"Likewise, it is indeed good to see the Ikazuchi back again, I have told a lot of information to your partner what I expect of the Ikazuchi, as head of the Emperor's shinobis, but do you have any questions you wish to ask me Reina-san?"

[Sayumi Michishige]

Sayumi sighed of relief, calming down finally. She was glad that the two seemed to get along, she was just still a bit mentally dis-shoveled from the little scene that had played out moments ago. She really needed to work on improving that part of herself. She opened her eyes, smiling at the two girls.

[Reina Tanaka]

Reina puffed her cheeks out a bit before shaking her head, "I don't think there's anything that I need to know that you haven't told Sacchan yet, correct?" she smiled, "So I can just be briefed by her."

[Yami no Yaiba]

It seemed that Reina was a bit more passionate then her partner was, that didn't matter to Yami, "Very well then I expect you to know what your job is as well as what is expected of you," Yami said.

[Reina Tanaka]

Though she was nice, the way Yami spoke sounded a bit strict, though more in a leader kind of way rather than someone trying to maliciously be mean. It reminded her of the days where she was one of the younger members of the group, always having to listen to her senpais.

She nodded once to signal that she understood what was said, "Yes ma'am, Sacchan and I will do our best!"

[Yami no Yaiba]

"Good, I expect great things, after all it is Sayumi-san's dream of being number one isn't it?" she said smiling at Sayumi.

[Sayumi Michishige]

Sayumi nodded, "Of course, and I couldn't imagine anyone else to see me reaching that number than my partner, Reina-chan~" Sayumi smiled over at Reina, her smile forth of warmth as she moved closer to her.

[Yami no Yaiba]

"I can see both of you truly care for one another, take care of each other, it can be one of your greatest strengths," Yami said, "however I feel that I should warn you that such bonds can also be used against you if you are not careful, however I believe that will not become a problem."

[Sayumi Michishige]

"I understand, I'm aware of this threat. I won't let it be used against us though." Sayumi spoke with determination. Her eyes narrowed, "If I do... then I'm failing both myself and Reina!" She clenched her fists.

[Yami no Yaiba]

"I cannot promise you that there you will always protect Reina, one day there could be a possibility that Reina has been kidnapped or hurt, when that happens do not lose yourself to your emotions...keep a calm head and think it through before deciding on a course of action," Yami said as she patted Sayumi's head, "I must take my leave now, again it is nice to meet both of you, I shall be observing you from the shadows," she said as she vanished in a twirl of sakura petals.

She then teleported back to her home as she sighed, "Good work Ayane-sama," one of the retainers said, "you handled it very well."

"Thank you, I am intrigued by them, they are very cute if I might say so myself. Tell the other clans that they are under the protection of the Haji Mon Clan until such time they are able to stand on their own two feet, failure to comply will be the same as attacking us," Yami ordered as the retainers bowed as he went to relay the news as Yami looked at the full moon, "till then Sayumi-chan, Reina-chan," she said with a giggle.
