Ren rammed his knee up towards Roland's chest, since he felt that would be more unexpected than his arm, backing away.

"I see. I see," Roland sighs "I'm sorry to have disrespected you then. Like i said I am a stranger to this land and its ways. I meant no harm. I was only hoping you would guide me so i may better understand this new world, but i shall seek guidance elsewhere. Farewell."
He turns his back on Ren and begins to walk away, unsure of where to go now.

Ren wasn't going to stop him and offer help. He didn't quite know what help this man would need. He still figured it was some mental problem.

Roland perked up a little. Surely all men of this realm were not as unhelpful as this one. He would seek comradeship else where and surely he would find it. Maybe even meet enough worthy comrades to amass an army. Yes an army. Last time he raised one they were crushed by the more experienced General Holt and his men, but surely this time it would be different. He had the power of the Gaia Memories now! The blessing of the gods! Surely this time he and his army could conquer this new land. He laughed to himself before breaking out into a run.
Today was the start was the start of a brand new quest for Roland the Conqueror, the man who had yet to conquer anything - yet.
