"I don't like it either. It...." Raina sighs. "What he spoke of is supposed to be treasured between lovers...and it seems like that we're not even viewed as people."

He put his arm around her, "It'll be ok," he said, "I'll do whatever I can to make sure we would never have to receive such orders. Like you said, it's only for those who do really love each other."

Raina sighs, leaning against his shoulder. "How can you be calm about it? ...and how can I not be jealous of the idea of you doing that? We...." she bit her lip, before looking away. "haven't done it.' she mumbled.

"I know," he said softly, "I didn't say we won't have jealousy, we just can't let it ruin our relationship, if it comes up," he said, "And...no, we haven't yet..."

Raina nods a little...shakily. They would come back to each other...but maybe could indulge in other pleasures? The idea of it was sickening, but... "Look. Ok. If you really think we should follow that kind of order...fine. We will....we'd come back to each other at the end of the day, but maybe have other pleasures. It's sickening, but better alive than dead..." She pauses for a moment, sighing.
"I have one condition."

He would have given more to it, but she seemed to agree that they would be killed for disobedience. Regardless, such an order wouldn't make him happy.

"Well, kind of two, actually, but....If it gets too much....tell me. We'll leave them and run. They can try and kill us, but we've gone through a lot." Raina said with conviction. "The other....I want you...in this bed...all to myself....and I want to know why you haven't told me you loved me. I know you do....but is there something wrong? Have I done something wrong? is there something bothering you?"

He looked away from her, trying to find what to say. He looked at her, "I haven't told you that I love you because...well...I wanted to be able to say it without the threat of End around to ruin things," he told her.

"Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy to defeat him...." She began, sighing softly. "I respect and appreciate that...I really do....but I don't want either of us to have regrets." And she meant it, what if something happened before he could say it?....it'd be heart-breaking.
