Overview: Tends to act very feminine and lady-like, but turns into an all-out ham when reacting to something. She may seem stuck-up and prissy at first, but is real friendly when you get to know her, especially towards her fellow AKB members who she loves like sisters. She doesn't really like fighting, but will defend herself, or others, if provoked. Can also be bit of a drama queen and a tad abrasive.
After a certain incident involving a crazed pervert, she has grown to distrust men. She has come to believe that all men are sex crazed beasts. She will show a facade of politeness towards them, but if they get to close she'll react violently (unless it's a man she's sure she can trust.)

History
Yuki Kashiwagi was in fact born in Kagoshima, Japan, but that’s not the whole truth. She was born under Kagoshima, in an underground kingdom home to various magical creatures, called Hinansho (or “Haven“) by its inhabitants. Yuki’s father was human while her mother was a Faerie. Her father was a hobo that lived in the sewers and stumbled upon Hinansho by pure accident. He found himself hunted by the Shikurettokipa (or “Secret Keepers”) who wanted to keep the existence of Hinansho from the human populace at all costs.
He hid out in a bathhouse, only to come upon a bathing beauty. He was instantly captivated by her. He came out of the woodwork in order to speak with her, but he was instantly captured by her guards. He then learned that the woman he was so taken with was the Empress of this ancient city. He was then brought to the royal palace, so the her husband, The Emperor, may pass judgment upon him. The Emperor declared the outsider to be executed immediately. The much kinder Empress begged her husband to spare the stranger’s life. “No one will believe him,” she pleaded, “It was only by accident did he discover our home. He does not deserve to be punished for an accident!”
The Emperor considered her words - he did not wish to upset his love. “Fine, the outsider’s live shall be spared,” sighed The Emperor, “But on one condition: if he ever tries to return to our city, he will be executed on the spot!” The outsider agreed on these terms and was thereby released from the chains that bind him. He was then led out of the city by the Shikurettokipa.
The man spent the next six months, trying to "accidentally" stumble upon the city again. He had become obsessed with The Empress and just had to see her again. On one of his visits to the underground sewers, he was met by a peculiar fellow who sort of resembled the mythical kappa. "Greetings human!" smirks the kappa, "I see you are trying to find Hinansho, once again. This is an impossible en-devour for you. There is a spell protecting the city from being discovered by humans seeking it. Only when you're not looking for it, will you find it."
The kappa then told the man that he would help him enter the city and win the heart of his lady love, but wanted his first born child in exchange. The man hastily agreed - he had no children to speak off, he took the kappa for a fool. The kappa then had the man dress in a golden robe. The man wondered why before the kappa showed the man his reflection in a puddle. He looked just like The Emperor!
The kappa then led "The Emperor" into the city. They managed to avoid both the Shikurettokipa and any curious citizens wondering why their Emperor was strolling about the city with a kappa. Through a secret passage only known to few, they were able to enter the palace. "The real Emperor is far away on business. This is your chance!" snickered the kappa, "The Empress is waiting! Go to her!"
"The Emperor" nodded, unaware the kappa may not be as trustworthy as he seemed, and went to find The Empress. She was in her bed champers. She asked her "husband" why he was back so early. He told her that he just couldn't stay away from her. They embraced and that night they made passionate love.
The next morning "The Emperor" and The Empress were discovered in bed by - the Emperor himself! It seems he really couldn't stay away from his love! He ripped off the golden robe of his imposter, revealing him to be the outsider. The Emperor unsheated his sword and stabbed the man through the chest right then and there, killing him instantly.
Nine months later, Yuki was born. The Emperor was quite pissed that the child was not his, but a mere human's and wanted her to share the same fate as her father. The Empress told him that if she executed her child, that she must face execution next! The Emperor sighed and reluctantly let the child live.
Yukirin spent the next fifteen years raised as a princess. She learned proper manners and the history of her people, the Faeries. They were an old European race, but were driven to near extinction by the humans. Yuki's ancestors left Europe and traveled East, finally settling in Japan.
On the night of her fifteenth birthday, she was kidnapped from her bed by the kappa who given her human father the enchanted robe. The kappa brought her to the human city above where he used his magic to brainwash her into thinking she was pure human, born and raised like a human (though she still retained all lessons on proper society behavior). The kappa took the form of her manager and then convinced Yuki to become an Idol!
Yuki, oblivious of her past, took part in Morning Musume's Happy 8 Ki Audition in July 2006 and made it to the third round before being cut. She joined AKB48 after an audition in December 3, 2006 and debuted as a member of Team B at the "AKB48 1st Anniversary Live - Seizoroi da ze! AKB!" concert. Before her theater debut, as part of the "AKB48 Haru no Chotto Dake Zenkoku Tour - Madamada da ze 48" tour, she appeared in Yuko Oshima's position on March 17 at the Aichi Welfare Pension Hall and on March 18 at the Fukuoka International Conference Hall.
Her first AKB48 theater performance as a Team B member was on April 4, 2007. On March 25, 2009, she joined Watanabe Productions. On April 25, 2009, she became a weathergirl on Tokyo Broadcasting System TV's "Hiruobi". She came 9th place in the member elections for the single "Iiwake Maybe" and was made captain of Team B on August 23, 2009. Her first solo photobook was released on September 20, 2009. In 2010, She was made a member of three-piece AKB48 sub-group French Kiss. During the AKB48 third general election in 2011, she was ranked third place by popular votes, after Yuko Oshima and Atsuko Maeda.

"Yukirin!" the man fanboy-spasmed, "I'm your biggest fan!"
Yuki just smiled politely and asked, "Do you have something for me to sign?"
The man blushed before pulling out a yellow action figure, "Sign please~"
Yuki cocked her hand, examining the strange figure handed to her.
"You want me to sign a toy?" she asked.
The man shook his head, "No. No. No. This is no toy. It's a Ranger Key! I'm with the Tomorrow Project!"
"Tomorrow Project?"
The man grinned, his eyes gleaming, "Oh Yukirin! You should join and be a ranger! We have a open spot!"
"Huh?" Not wanting to displease her fan, she agreed - unaware of the responsibility that had been bestowed upon her.
