Overview:
Mikan on the outside seems rather humble, low matinenced, and a bit on the quiet side, she usually has a bit of a passive attitude towards things and just tends to shrug things off unless they have importance to her.
While she seems polite, non-violent and thoughtful, deep down she harbors a lot of anger and resentment towards her mother's death. She hates when people feel sorry for her and tries to not show as much emotion, making her come off as a bit quiet and passive to others around her. Mikan is also afraid of losing control of her emotions in the heat of battle, if her opponent says something that makes Mikan enraged, thats basically their death sentence. Mikan will go on an almost psychotic rampage and will not stop until she quenches her thirst for their blood.
While emotional, Mikan tries to calm down through different methods; cry, drink tea, listen to music, or shut all the lights in her room off and hide under the covers.

History
Mikan was born into the clan of Ushiba, a clan who proudly served the Emporer, however were looked down upon because they did not hold many achievements when compared to other clans. From around the time when Mikan was 4 years old she had began to learn the ways of the ninja from her doting parents who always pushed her to try her best. She was quite a quick learner, and others had suggested that their parents let her enroll in the Academy.
When her 5th birthday arrived, she exactly did that. She was enrolled into the Hayate's Way Sea Class, like her mother had done many years before. Mikan was attatched to her mother's leg and always tried extra hard to earn praise from her. Ultimately statisfied when she got her mother's love.
However, not so long after starting her schooling, Mikan's mother was slain during a mission because of the incompitence of someone showing mercy to the enemy. This scarred Mikan and it made her shut down emotionally, taking all her sorrow and resentment and only pushing herself in her studies.
After all her years of studies, Mikan graduated with Honors at the Hayate's Way Academy. With her prowess and her clan's refutible reputation, she was offered to be apart of the Shinobi Hunter Squadran for the Emporer. She willingly took this position and thus was added as a member, while doing her duties, she has one thing really in mind.
Get revenge on the people who killed her mother.

The night was clear tonight, the waning crescent glimmered magestically in the sky along with the twinkles of the millions of stars in the sky. A figure sat ontop of the roof of her apartment complex, gazing at the moon through the binds of a chain link fence.
Mikan's gaze lingered towards the streets below her, she went and sighed as she placed a hand on the fence. Her brown eyes filling with grief as she looked towards her other hand, within her grasp was the Hurricane Gyro.
'Please don't lose control....' she mentally begged herself, she hated the fact that her emotional baggage somehow always got in the way of her actions. She felt like she was playing Russian Roulette within her head, would she lose control today? Or tomorrow? It scared her how much of a monster she could become if she let herself lose control for just even a second. Biting her lip, Mikan didn't have much more time to think about her actions, she had to go to her destination, now.
Within a gust of the cool, night breeze, Mikan, under the guise of Hurricane Blue hopped up and off the chain link fence and glided through the air effortlessly, jumping from roof top to roof top. She only hoped that everything would go like she hope it would in her mind.
