Overview: Hajime or rather the self-proclaimed “General” of the Underworld known as Shadow is a rather complex character. Masquerading under the guise of a human, he walks around—displaying himself as a greedy individual who often makes wise-cracks towards the people he has a dislike for, but making use of intellect, as well as a silver-tongue in order to take himself higher in the public world. Within his true guise though is his more hideous personality, one of a rather prideful man who desires nothing but battle and destruction—proclaiming himself under numerous titles in an almost comedic fashion. He regards “the Joker” as one form of “Death” and uses it as an ‘icon’ in all of his forms to label death or destruction upon those before or around him. He has a habit though of even in his real form becoming rather slothful towards his own intentions and attempting to simply live a calm life temporarily, but once boredom kicks in he’ll switch back to his original personality and go thirsting for battle and carnage yet again.

Deep beneath our world, lays another world tucked away in secrecy. It exists alongside and yet independently from our own world; inhabited by creatures known as “Demons” who thrive upon the negativity and the mishappenings of the human race above. One Demon particular is the Demon of many names, the self-proclaimed General of the Underworld; “General Shadow”. A Demon who thrives on the bets he makes with others, using the excuse of winning or losing as a means to either reward or punish the person he had forged a bet with. Resorting to the most sudden and tricky of means, this self-proclaimed General of Demons is nothing but the worst of Murderers.
A rather powerful yet strange character, General Shadow took himself to the Human World--bored of his antics within The Underworld and against his own race. He had thrived for fun on the grounds of the Human Race, thirsting for destruction, desiring an opponent who could overcome him at his own sick game. Yet, as the General took life after life, and caused "scenarios" as he refers to them wherever he would take himself, no individual that could meet his satisfaction ever came before him. Growing dissatisfied evermore, he decided to change his "hand".
He took a human guise; deciding to remain hidden within the human world as one of their own, sneaking around in the shadows, fooling people left-to-right. This way he could live life from their perspective, continuing his own sick games while enjoying the vices of the Human Race. Upon obtaining a human guise and starting his game of charades, he took up a full accountable amount of falsified records—so that he may live without suspicion.
Not long after General Shadow, or rather Hajime Katsugiya, began his charade towards the Human Race, he uncovered a rather dainty-appearing box--a casing that held within something he at the time didn't expect to remain as something so valuable. Inside was a piece of equipment, developed by an Organization known as BOARD which had recently had their headquarters destroyed in what the General would consider "A most beautiful burst of disaster". The equipment in question, was the Glaive Buckle, and with it Hajime gained a new ability—the ability to become a Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Glaive. Developing a new identity from within his guise as Hajime Katsugiya, the General began to take great pleasure in exercising his abilities as Kamen Rider Glaive. Yet, not wanting to risk ruining his public appearance as a Human, he decided to save usage of his Kamen Rider form for bouts with other Kamen Riders or if he actually felt a need to feign heroism. The origins of this Buckle though interest him greatly, and although he continues his usual games of masquerading and creating destruction, he at the same time desires to learn the truth behind the Buckle as well as the Organization that created them. Little does he know that the origins of the Buckle relate to something that he would only find, forever intriguing. A game of life and death he would behold great ecstasy to be a part of.

“Sorry to tell you this, but it would appear your luck has ran out…” A man was cracking a wise-crack to another attendant to the local casino. Smirking as he watched the fellow customer fail at the slots, having nothing but unfortunate and unlucky “spins”. It was amusing to watch humans struggle to fulfill the emptiness their greed produced. To him this was but a simple form of past-time not too different from how one would watch a sports’ game.
Growing frustrated, the temper of the man at the machine had pretty much broke as he had become hostile to those around him. Turning his eye to the previously wise-cracking man of before, whom now only stood there shuffling some cards—he had tried to approach him. Of course before the angered man could speak, the one he approached held out a Joker Card, chuckling. “Like I said before, your luck… has just ran out…” He grinned slowly.
The actions of the man weren’t questioned despite occurring in bright daylight. All that was known was to simply forget what may have been seen, as the large man had ended up identified as dead, due because of the actions of this stranger. The man who had acted remains a bit of an urban legend as he goes casino to casino—appealing to his own greedy nature.

- Kamen Rider Glaive – Slotting in the “Change Kerberos” card into the side of his Glaive Buckle and then attaching the buckle to himself, Hajime slots open the buckle--with “Open Up” being heard emitted from his buckle--as a golden card with the sigil of the “Kerberos Undead” is projected infront of him as Hajime simply stands there and allows the golden projection to slide through him—changing his form into that of Kamen Rider Glaive.
- ”General” Shadow – From his “Human” Form; Hajime pulls out a Joker card, grinning slowly as he holds it above his face and utters, “Looks like your luck has just ran out…” as he throws it forward—the card expanding and becoming huge as it comes back and “absorbs” Hajime, spinning around a few times before displaying it front-forward towards his target and General Shadow steps out from the card, brandishing his Shadow Rapier. From his Kamen Rider Form; he can merely dis-engage his Kamen Rider form and appear as General Shadow if he chooses too.

Barely does it see usage aside from when he plays a game of "Russian Roulette" with someone, or if he feels the need to use it without enforcing the use of the Glaive Buckle or his True Powers. It resembles any standard revolver, albeit its barrel is somewhat longer in comparison to others--as whether or not this affects its performance as a gun in comparison to other Revolvers is rather tricky to determine.
